"CASSY! COME DOWN THIS INSTANT PLEASE DARLING!" my mom's horrible voice came booming though the house *peace mom i love you*

"What is it mom??" i groaned jumping of the comfortable sofa. which i was enjoying with the tv on and a bowl of popcorn and sweets *yeah its not healthy but who cares* before my mom interrupted my little time left of the holidays i was supposed to be enjoying.

"As you see, there is a new neighbor across our house so it would be polite for us to welcome them by inviting them to dinner tonight. you don't mind right? i mean if you don't hang out with your friends tonight and welcome them. Besides, i think they have a boy your age so i hope you guys get along well. Considering you might go to the same school and all."

"Mooommmmm... tonight is friday night."

"i know thats why i asked. Please Case, just this week.. Or maybe you can bring them here and ask them to have dinner with us"

You see, i have a tradition with my friends. Every friday night, we will go out somewhere (usually we take turns of hosting each other at our houses or maybe have picnic in the park) to hang out. We've been doing this since the 5th grade where our moms started to befriend each other and brought us along. So, since then, we used to hang out together. But now, since our moms are busy with their household, well you can say that only us kids hang out together now.

So when my mom said that, well it broke my heart. Nah just kidding. Well, i tried to find an excuse but since i don't want to disappoint my mom who by the way is wearing her old puppy eyes trick i said "Yeah sure. Let me give them a call."

"Oh yeah, by the way, use something nice and tell them to dress up too Case! Not too fancy not to casual. Thank you darling. And oh yea, tell your brother and sister too"

"anything else mom?"

"Want some chocolate chip cookies?"

And with that i ran towards her and grabbed the entire plate then dashed to my studio. Not waiting for mom's protests. Well hate to brake it to you mom but its your fault your cookies are gone.

Plopping down on the sofa, munching away the cookies, i texted the gurls. Yeah, i said i'll give them a call but that means i must open my mouth. Meanwhile i'm too lazy to even do that. Yeah i'm as lazy as that.

Case : gurlz, i love you guys but my mom is hosting dinner tonight for the new neighbors across my house so, can we cancel tonight's movie night at Penny's and come to mine at 7 to have dinner with my family and the other family? Come or have your hair painted orange xx

Penz-angel : Sure gurl. Lets just have a sleepover at yours.

Mandy ma luv : Yeah sure that sounds great. What should we wear?

Ellaa : count me in babe

Case : you guys are life savers. Not too casual not to fancy. come at 7. Love ya guys

And with that i texted Cam and Aly, my twin and my lil sis, Aly. Hey! You know im lazy. dont judge.

"Can someone get the door?!" my mom shouted from the kitchen.

"I'll get it mom!" Cam shouted running to the door.

Then i heard Cam stomping down the stairs and the door clicking opened signaling that Cam has opened the front door. I walked out of my room than stood on the upper stairs waiting for them to come up.

"Hey Pen, hey El, hey Mandy. Case is upstairs in her room. and by the way you guys look hooooot." he said flirting then turned away not before winking.
