CHAPTER SEVEN - STILL MISSING YOU

Evan and I hadn't spoke of what he said but we were now joking about stuff like games and other family stuff. We just talked about crap. We also talked about issues in our life and other stuff.

My phone buzzed in my pocket getting a text. I looked at my phone.

Eli : We need to talk I broke up with Kate

I instantly freak out "OH SHIT!" I hiss at my phone. I look at Evan, he gets up too knowing that something was wrong and I fell from us getting up at the same time. He fell and crushed my body.

He supports himself on my body and I can finally breath again, we start bursting out in fits of laughter.

Evan stops looking at me for a second "is it bad that I want you to kiss me?" He asks chuckling.
I look at him and I'm serious "yes it is bad." I push him off of me and speed walk away.

"KENZIE DON't BE MAD OVER THAT!" Evan yells at me trying to catch up with me. "I'm not mad over that I'm mad over Eli and I know you had no feelings towards Kelly." I talk fast and then I realize what he said.

" I didn't believe it at first but how would you know that..." Evan stutters.

"You told me that!" I said honestly and then I realized in this world he had never told me.

"I remember something from that world you speak of.. I remember us being really good friends... I don't even know how it's possible." He starts and then I embrace him. I squeeze him into a tight hug not realizing how much I missed his smell I always thought it was amazing.

"Did you just sniff me?" He chuckles.

"Don't get any ideas of what that means..." I glare at him.

"Okay okay okay." He says putting his hands up.

"I really missed you." I say letting go of the hug.

"I don't even know it's so confusing?" He says rubbing his head.

"Do you think this is a fake world?" I ask him trying to search for answers.

"No I think that it's a new world but I don't know how,"Evan tells me "I still can't believe this."

"Let's just not talk about it." I suggest trying to get off the subject even though it's all I ever think about.

"So how long did Kelly and I last in the real world?" He says smirking.

"Uhh a week." I say he looks surprised.

"You also told her you liked me the first time you saw me and the first time I talked to you." I say lowly.

"Well that's the truth." Evan states and I stare at him.

"Please don't do this Evan..." I softly whisper.

"Your going to do something you regret..."

"I'm not regretting anything." Evan says stopping and I look back at him stopping.

"You didn't tell me the rest of the story..." Evan begins, "about me."

"You got mad a lot and one day you asked me out and I didn't know what to tell you because of all the issues in my life... We talked about how we didn't want to date and you just.." I started stopping at certain parts.

"So you said no." He blankly said.

"Yes I did... There were so many reasons." I argue but he stops me with his hand going up.

"I hate myself for getting mad at you." Evan says.

"Yeah but I did things-" I start but he stops me again.

"I don't care I don't want you to tell me." He says.

"Did I tell you I love you I can just feel it..." Evan continues.

"Don't go there Evan." I point.

"I know I said I love you to you before because in my heart I can feel it." Evan says.

"I don't know what to say." I whisper.

"Don't say anything I just want you to know that I don't care if Eli loves you and I don't care about Kelly or even anything about Kate having to do with this.." Evan says as we stare into each others eyes.

"What's going on here?" Eli's voice rings behind me.
