Beeping came into my ears the first thing I'd heard in awhile. It felt like ages since I had been awake. I slowly heard a stranger saying something to someone. "She's waking up I can't believe my eyes!" The stranger said excitedly.
I opened my eyes to see light blazing in my eyes and my mother starting to scream.

"I CANT BELIEVE IT!" My mom screamed jumping and being way to excited. Me on the other hand was very confused, I didn't understand why she was so excited or where I was....

"Where am I?" I said dryly waiting for someone to answer me. My mom had finally stopped jumping and was finally next to me. "You don't remember the car?" My mom asked lacing her voice with concern.

"W-what C-car?" I stutter feeling like I knew. I eyed the room, the solid white room with a window pointing towards a parking lot.

"The one that hit you," She sighed. I blinked a few times digesting her words.

"I was hit by a car." I repeated.

"Yeah, sweetie I'm just so glad you woke up, I was starting to give up hope that you would ever wake up," She sighed putting her hand on my cheek.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked confused.

"Honey it's been a year in a half since you got hit." Mom says soothingly.

Her phone starts ringing and she smiles at it "it's your father he's going to be so happy!" She washes out of the room hurrying.

The doctor checks me out just incase but says that it's been a year and a half so I'm fine. My lips pucker as I think about my last moments.

"So am I still in that dream world crap or is this the real world?" I say out loud but my mom walks in during half of it.

"You must still be out of it." She states as she gives me a bottle of water.

"I called some of your friends they're heading over they're so excited your awake." Mom smiles.

"We got school figured out since you only had a week of your school last you can just do summer school for the next year and that." Mom explains for what seemed like hours. She explained that I had to catch up on a year and that all I would need to do his summer school for 2 years to catch up but I can still be in the same classes with my friends.

I nod smiling to make her somewhat happy I don't want her stressing she's probably been stressing for way to long.

A knock comes from the door and my mom opens it.

"Finally you guys are here I'll let you catch up." She says as she lets them in and she slides out.

Eli, Devin, Evan, Kelly, and Kate are in front of me with grins on their faces.

Kate seems to be doing fine but maybe this isn't the "same world"

I grin at them.

"I have a surprise." Kate and Eli say at the same time.

I look at them and they walk out the door and right back in. Right when I saw the little baby I knew.

"It's a boy." Kate smiles.

"And I won custody." Eli smiles at me and glares at Kate.

"I have one day with him." Kate sighs.

I look at the baby boy and he's looking at me.
