Changing the Time

CHAPTER ONE - JUST A NORMAL DAY

I walked in to school just like everyday. I rubbed my eyes and pushed my body up to seem less tired. I walked up the stair and then got to my locker.

I grabbed my books and rushed over to Deven's locker "HEY!" I excitedly say hugging him.

"You didn't have to do that," He groans and rolls his eyes getting me off of him. Devin slides his books into his backpack and shuts his locker. I lay my hand on his shoulder even though it's really uncomfortable.

"You know I'm taller than you right?" Devin chuckles as we head down the stairs.

I roll my eyes, "Don't remind me." We walk to the wellness classroom together and sit down next to each other.

Devin was one of my best guy friends ever and I only got two classes with him. The bell rang signaling that class was going to start.

I groan and set my head on the table as Devin chuckles at me.

"HEY STUDENTS COMING FROM THE WELLNESS CLASSROOM!" My teacher Miss. Kathie screams excitedly.

No one says anything, they just stare at her. She soon goes into detail about the human body and talks to the skeleton that is in the front to TRY to entertain us.

When the class is over, I say bye to Devin and leave the classroom.

I run up the stairs trying to get to the art room as fast as possible to beat all the other kids. I get into the classroom rush in and put my stuff in. A few seconds later, Eli leaps into the classroom. "Hey Kenzie," he says smirking.

I just nod not feeling the whole talking thing. Cameron soon comes in after about a minute of Eli just talking to me.

"CAMMY!" I yell irritating him to death, "I missed your snapchats last night." I joke.

"Shut up you bag," He says and then burst into laughter. It never gets old.

Kelly comes in with Kate and they sit down at the table too. This classroom is like home even though I suck at drawing and I'm so glad Eli, and I are still friends.

I smile and get my phone out that is constantly buzzing. WOAH!

I SEE 300 MESSAGES ALREADY SENT THROUGH THE GROUPCHAT of "the art room"

I go through my texts to lay my eyes on Jake. We hadn't talked in two days but it was always like that. I liked him so much but we weren't at the dating thing yet. It was almost like we would never be. I slide back up and text in the group chat "ugh..."

Texts:

Cameron: shut up you bag

Eli: The winner is you (image)

Kelly: WOW

Kate: :l

After awhile of slacking off the bell rings and I go to third period the worst period of all. HELL WAS ABOUT TO BEGIN! HELL WAS KNOWN AS SCIENCE!

Kelly caught up to me "what's wrong?" she questioned like everyday. "Nothing." I say.

"You sure?" She questions back.

"I'm definitely sure."

The day is as boring as this all the way through
