"He's been in an accident"
As I hear the words escape my mother's mouth everything stops around us. My aunt breaks down into tears that I assume were just stopped right before I got home.
"How?" "How did he get into an accident?"
"Well there was this land mine and it blew up and he got the impact"
I couldn't believe this. Why? Why did it happen to him? I slumped down onto the floor and hot tears started to stream down my face. I couldn't believe it.
"What does this mean?" I ask my voice wavering.
"It means he's coming home early."

Sorry I haven't been writing lately. I understand that you guys like it and yes there are 24 hours in a day. But I have just been so busy with school (It's hit me hard this year) I'm not giving up on this book but I sadly won't be updating this book or any of my books as often until I have a better standing in school. I love all of you guys and I don't want to disappoint you guys and I understand if some of you stop reading because I am not a consistent poster. but I promise you I will finish this book.
