Chapter 22.

I sat down next to Austin and Justin :) I was trying my best not to fan girl, it was one of the hardest things I had to ever do in my life. Next to Austin was Justin's friend, Taylor, she was so beautiful and funny. Next to Taylor was Scooter and next to Scooter was Selena.

If looks could kill, I would be six feet under.

Honestly, she was giving me the dirtiest looks, I wanted to say something but I just couldn't, my future depended on it.

"So, when did you start singing?" Justin asked me right when I put bread in my mouth. I put my finger up to say one second and Selena said something under her breath, I didn't catch it though.

"Uhm, sorry." Justin added laughing a little bit. I nodded then swallowed the last bit of what was in my mouth.

"It's alright." I laughed. "I actually started when I was 6-7 but got serious like 4 years ago, I'm 16 now, so I've been singing for a while now." I answer his question.

"Wow." Scooter said giving Justin a look then smiling at me.

"If you're wondering, we are doing this dinner as an interview then we will go back to the studio to see how good you are with the pressure." Justin said giving me a heartemlting smile.

"What pressure? I'm really good with singing for people and in front of people. Just a little known fact about me." I said returning the smile and Austin put his hand on my thigh and squeezed lightly. I looked at him, he winked and I gave him a weak smile. 'I'm so nervous.' I mouthed to him. He moved over to my ear, he whispered something. "Don't be." He assured me. I nodded and looked at Justin because he was asking me yet another question.

"Who do you live with? Do you two live together?" He asked, I shifted awkwardly in my chair.

"Well I actually live with my mom but before I lived with Joe." I said an cringing at the sound of his name.

"Who is?" Justin said laughing lightly.

"Oh sorry. He's my father. A lot of shi- stuff happened with him." I said correcting myself.

"Oh sorry to hear that." Selena said giving me the fakest smile I have ever seen.

"Yeah, me too." Justin said giving me a real smile. "Sel? Can I talk to you really quickly?" Justin said standing up, Selena followed.

"Sorry about her. She is the jealous type. She can be horribly bitchy but really sweet." Scooter said.

"She's a bitch." Taylor said, I spat my food and started laughing.

Taylor started laughing and she got up to tap my back. I like her. Taylor sat down and her attention went on to a girl coming this way. "MACK!" She yelled. I turned around to see a beautiful, short girl run towards us. "TAYTAY!" She yelled back. The whole restaurant was looking at us now.

"Hey Mack." Justin said walking back the table holding Selena's hand. Mack walked up to him and they hugged. "Selena." She said looking at her. "Mackenzie." She said back really coldhearted. Okay?

"You must be?" Mack I'm guessing is her name asked me.

"Alexa Smitty." Justin said before I could even think about responding. "I'm signing her, remember?" Justin added.

"Oh yeah, I've heard so much about you and you're are really talented just saying." She said shacking my hand.

"You are the Austin Mahone?" Mackenzie asked. Austin nodded.

"Oh well I'm Mackenzie but just can call me Mack." She said. "I'm Justin's cousin. 3rd cousin actually but we act like brother and sister." She added and sat next to Scooter and Taylor. "Anyways, continue." She said looking at Justin. He nodded.

"If I do end up signing you Alexa. I want you to know that I will act like your brother and I will get to know you. We will know each other on a personal level. I will always be there to talk about anything just saying." He said smiling at me. "I'm not kidding. I\m dead serious." He said putting his hand on my shoulder. I nodded. "Okay, thank you." I said in response.

"Me too Alexa." Scooter added. I nodded.

After that it was silent, the random laughing from Taylor and Mack but that's it.

When we were done eating, Justin started talking.

"let's go to the studio. Here are the directions. We will meet you in the parking lot." He said pulling out $200 bucks and leaving the table. Alright. He walked out and we followed.

When me and Austin got in the car, I let out a breath of air I didn't know I was holding in. Austin giggled.

"That was so fucking scary but did you see his face? He is so hot!" I said. "Not as hot as you though babe." I said kissing his cheek. "I know." He said blushing a bit.

"Let's get to the studio." I said looking out the window. "You'll do great babe. You always do."

"Thanks but I'm a little bit nervous for this one." I said looking at Austin and he smiled.

"Lighten up babe. I believe in you." Austin said. He put his hand on my thigh and tapped to the beat of the song witch was 'Half a Heart' by one direction.

"It's like I'm waking up to only half a blue sky." I started singing looking out the window and Austin joined me.

When it ended, we both looked at each other. "I love you." I said.

"I love you babe." he said back.
"We're here." he said taking the keys out of ignition. I took a deep breath.

"You got this." Austin told me.

"Maybe." I said and opened the car door. I saw Justin laughing with Taylor and Mackenzie. He saw me and walked my way.

"Alexa." Austin said. I turned around only to be welcomed by his lips on mine. "you'll be fine." he said.

"Hey Alexa." Justin said and gave me a hug.

"You ready?" I asked.

"When you are." he told me.

"Then lets go." I said back to him and we made our way into the studio.
