My spy squad had returned and the news that they brought with them was great. The new base was set up on the outskirts of the main city. It was under construction so now was a great time to attack. Lando said he had seen Ben there but no sign of Anakin. Ben probably kept him locked somewhere possibly in his ship. Rea was a bit more hopeful at finding Anakin now that we knew something. Now all we needed was a plan.
"Okay so to get Anakin back I have come up with a plan. If Ben cares about Cayla than maybe we can make an exchange. We give back Cayla if he gives back Anakin." I stated.
"Now what if he doesn't go through with the deal?" Rea asked.
"Well this is what we do. First we send a message asking to meet with Ben. Then once we have met with him we discuss our deal. If he agrees I will send one of you to get Cayla from the ship. Before that happens he has to show us Anakin alive and well. Then we hand over Cayla. After that we return to Corellia and plan the destruction of that base." I said.
"Sounds good but when do things go right for us the first time?" Rea said.
"Okay I admit, we don't have the best record of things going right but there's a first time for everything. Right?" I said hopefully.
"Alright we'll give it a shot but if this go wrong-" Han said but I cut him off.
"Than we come up with a new plan and we don't stop until we have Anakin." I said fiercely.
"Alright Sweetheart don't get all riled up." Han said with a smirk.
"You make it so difficult sometimes." I said.
"I do. I really do." Han said.
After that we all went to downtown Corellia to grab a bite to eat. We talked for a while and it was fun acting like normal people and nothing was wrong but in reality everything was wrong in our lives at the moment. We were wanted by every bounty hunter but protected by most planets. The prices on our heads were large but no one dared to turn us in. The bounty hunters wanted us dead but they didn't dare to do it. Life was good but with many twists and turns. Everyone kept getting taken or hurt. We didn't know what to do but one was for sure. We wouldn't go down without a fight.
Ben thought he could break us by taking the ones we cared about. He didn't understand that the only thing that did was make us more determined to get him back. We weren't the weak minded fools he thought we were. We were the leaders. The ones who made peace. The ones who fixed the wrongs and praised the rights. We wanted peace. If the only way to make peace was to destroy Ben than that's what we would do.
We were the Leaders and Ben would go down in flames.
