37. Desicions

I had reached a decision. I would end this all. I didn't care of I died. I was tired of people getting hurt. Physically and emotionally. I would find Rea. Talk to her. Do something. I couldn't stand the life we lived anymore. It wasn't fair. It wasn't right. I guess nothing was fair anymore.

I quietly walked out of the place Han and I had been staying in and I left a note saying if I didn't make it back he needed to move on. I could die doing this. Anyone could kill me. Ben would do it, a trooper would do it, Rea, at this point might even do it but I knew that whatever happened today would definitely affect tomorrow.

I had a feeling Rea was on Naboo. I still had a small force connection to her. I was right. Ben was with her though. I took a minute and I pondered in my thoughts.

If Ben hadn't have come along and ruined everything we would be just fine. We would be helping the galaxy. Saving people everyday. Helping run the senate and train troops and command armies. Ben came along and ruined it. He stepped into a place he didn't belong. He took away my best friend. He ruined the friendship. Soon he would pay. I just hope Rea will do it.

I finally climbed out of the Falcon and walked right into the main part if Naboo. I found out where Rea had been staying and I took a visit. Apparently it was a small new base Ben had built. It was dark and gloomy there. Nothing like Naboo used to be. Everyone seemed down and upset. Trapped in a world they couldn't escape from. Something like the life I lived.

I walked into the base and found the main chamber. There I found Rea talking to some guard. She looked different. She was dressed in black. Her eyes were yellow. She said she was a grey jedi but to me she basically had turned.

"Rea." I said emotionless.

"Leila what are you doing here? Leave! You don't belong here! I made my choice and you can't do anything!" She yelled at me.

"I'm not here to change your mind! I'm here to ask you if this is what you really want! Throw away your old life. Ruin this friendship. This isn't you. Ben is destroying you! Your just to blind to see it!" I yelled back.

"You don't know anything! My life is better is now. I'm happy!" Rea yelled.

"You just say that! You don't mean it! You don't know what you want!" I yelled back.

"Stay away from me! Just leave me alone! I made my choice! I choose Ben! I choose this life! I hate to do this but you've given me no choice." Rea said. Then she ignited her lightsaber and hesitated. She expected me to ignite mine but instead I just stared at her.

"I'm not going to fight you. I don't betray people I care about. Something you should learn." I said. Then I unhooked my lightsaber from my belt and tossed it in front of her and I waited.

I didn't move I just waited. I wasn't going to fight Rea. I didn't want to. So it all was up to her.

Would she kill me or let us both survive?
