"Ross.. " she says again lightly tapping his shoulder. Ross quickly turns around stunned.

"Oh, Hey Rach." he smiles nervously and looks out over into the city.

"Can we talk? I have some things I need to say to you."

Rachel became more nervous by the second and began to play with the hem of her shirt.

"Yeah, of course."

"I just... " her eyes began to tear and she ran into his arms and hugged him tight crying into his chest. Ross immediately held her in his arms and buried his face in her neck soothing her.

"Rach, stop please stop." he says barely above a whisper.

"You picked her over me." she cried "You actually are choosing to rid me from your life."

Rachel couldn't handle the thought of him not caring about her and it caused her to break down. She was crying loudly into his chest and shaking.

"Rachel, it's only for my marriage. Don't you understand what it feels like to get divorced by someone you love?" Ross blurted out without thinking.

Rachel pulled away and looked him in the eyes. "No, I don't know. Because the person I love with all my heart never even proposed to me after being with me a year." she paused to collect herself and spoke again. "But he married a girl he knew for a few weeks... Did you not love me?" she asked exasperated

"What? Of course I did! I loved you more than life, you know you were my everything."

"But you're still willing to never see me again?" Rachel backed away. She needed her space, but Ross walked back over to her and put his hands on her hips and she immediately pushed them off.

"Rach I..." Ross was at a loss for words. How could she think he didn't care? I mean, I guess she sort of have a reason too but he couldn't imagine how.

"Did you even think about marrying me?" she finally whispered.

"Many times.. I always knew.. I mean thought it would be you." Ross quickly covered up his mistake.

Back inside the rest of the gang were casually watching them.

"This doesn't look like its going too well, Rachels been in tears this whole time.." Monica let out disappointed.

"No, they'll work it out. They're lobsters!" Phoebe stated as if she were positively right.

"Pheebs this is serious! I mean in a few days, they'll not see each other and it will just be hard on all of us!" Monica ranted. "I mean how dare Emily take over our lives!"

"I know.. " Joey said disappointed. "I hate Emily! And poor Rach is a mess she loves him so much and hes too stupid to take her back!"

Back outside Ross and Rachel were still in a heated conversation.

"Rach, please don't hate me for this.. "

"I love you." Rachel finally blurted out. "I love you so much Ross. This is killing me." She started to softly cry and Ross didn't know what to do.

Rachel quickly wiped her tears away and decided she had to make a move. She walked over to Ross and in one motion wrapped her arms around his neck and began to kiss him.

Ross didn't know what to think. He loved kissing Rachel, and he wish it could be this simple but it wasn't and so he pulled away slightly pushing her back. Rachel stumbled backwards and whimpered.

"Look I'm sorry, but I can't." Ross said sadly looking down.

"it's okay.. I shouldve known. I'm just so stupid." she said covering up her face.

"No you're not stupid! You don't even know how much I want to kiss you right now."

"Then do it." Rachel said stepping closer.

"What?"

"Kiss me."

By then, they were close to each other and Rachel could feel his breath on her and she closed her eyes and parted her lips.

Ross inched closer to her and wrapped his arms completely around her waist and paused centimeters away from her lips debating on this. He slowly got close enough as to where their lips were barely touching and he pulled away again.

"No, I'm sorry It'll make things harder."

"But it could make things easier! We can be together again!" Rachel pleaded and begged

"I'm married, Rachel!" Ross said getting more and more upset.

"You love me more I know you do." she said simply. "And I love you more than that bitch will ever think about loving you Ross Geller!"

"Don't you call her a bitch Rachel!" Ross shouted angry and Rachel backed away scared.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you, seriously I can't believe I just did that I'm sorry." He said and hugged her.

"But in all seriousness, no one will ever love you as much as I do." Rachel mumbled messing with her hair.

"Please." Rachel whispered in her last attempt to get him back. "Ross, I can't live without you." Rachel whined and laced their fingers together.

"I'm sorry.. But no."

Rachel immediately dropped their hands and ran inside on the verge of tears.

Everyone in the room turned and looked at her. "So what happened?" Monica asked sitting up.

Rachel was now crying hard and stopped at her door. "He picked that stupid bitch over me! He'll never see me again." Rachel whispered something in Monica's ear and monica immediately teared up but shook her head yes. Rachel went into her room and slammed the door shut. A few minutes later she came back out with a suitcase and left a few seconds before Ross came back in.

"How could you." Monica said coldly staring him down.

"How is she?" he asked

"she left a message for you."

"what was it?" Ross asked curiously

"goodbye forever."

"No." Ross said panicking.
