Me or Her

Ross froze. Emily couldn't be pregnant, he wanted to be with Rachel.

"You're pregnant?" Ross whispered after a long pause.

Rachel got a terrified look on her face and looked up at Ross and wrapped her arms around him facing him. She wasn't letting go this time. She thought he would return the gesture but he didn't. He just stared at Emily.

Just then Emily cried and turned and ran out the door. Ross made Rachel let go of him and started to run after her when he heard Rachel's voice.

"Ross?" she had said it so quietly and you could hear her about to cry. He stopped dead in his tracks and turned back to her. She was standing there staring at him with desperation. Ross looked back and forth from her and the door not knowing what to do.

He finally stepped closer to her and wrapped his arms firmly around her back pulling her into his chest. He kissed the top of her head multiple times and rubbed her back.

"I'm here for you always." he whispered still not removing his lips from her and kissing her there again.

He pulled away and placed his hand on her stomach and Rachel laughed through her tears. "Remember that night I said you were always mine?" Ross whispered

Rachel nodded and Ross brought her face to his and kissed her. He gently kissed her bottom lip while caressing her cheek with his thumb. He pulled away slowly and looked into her eyes. "I meant it."

Rachel started to tear up as the others watched from the other side of the room also trying to hold back the tears. "I love you so much." Rachel smiled and Ross held her.

"What about Emily?" Chandler spoke up

"Well I'm not going to London with her.. And well we clearly need to get divorced.. so I don't know." Ross sighed and could already feel a headache forming. Rachel got jealous with the mention of her name. She could easily steal him back since they were married and she was carrying their child she thought.

"I guess I'll go talk to her." Ross finally said and Rachel grabbed his hand.

"I'm coming with you." she said lacing their fingers together and standing slightly behind him holding onto his shirt.

"No, you're not baby, I don't want you around her."

"I don't want YOU around her!" Rachel let slip and he could tell she was jealous.

"Listen. It will be alright I promise." he assured her but Rachel wasn't quite convinced.

"Can I atleast go out there with you for 5 seconds, please!" Rachel begged "If you let me, I'll do something very special for you." she said raising her eyebrow and kissing him.

"Dude, let her go or I will." Joey yelled and Rachel rolled her eyes at him.

"Fine. 5 seconds. But why?"

"You'll see."

Ross and Rachel walked out into a waiting room and saw Emily sitting there. She sat Ross down a little ways in front of Emily but clearly where she could see them. Rachel saw Emily watching and straddled him right there in the chair and kissed him with all she had. She didn't care who saw. When she was done she got up and walked away leaving both Ross and Emily stunned.

"That should do it." Rachel smiled and walked away after looking Emily straight in the eyes.

Ross eventually got up and went over to sit by Emily.

"So.. " Ross said and Looked over at Emily.

"I guess you picked Rachel then." Emily said calmly and Ross quickly turned to her.

"Yes. But Emily I never faked my feelings for you it's just.. I've always loved her and I'm not going to pass up the opportunity to be with her." Ross poured his heart out to her and she smiled sympathetically at him.

"I understand Ross, I really do." she smiled and patted his knee.

"What about our baby?" Ross asked as she tried to get up.

"There's no baby, Ross. I just wanted you to stay with me. It was wrong and I'm sorry." she apologized and hugged him.

"I forgive you. And I'm sorry too."

"It's alright dear." Emily replied and left the hospital.

Ross and Rachel were finally going to be able to be a family.
