Jealousy at its finest

Rachel drug Ross out onto the beach as soon as they got there and he really had no say in it. He watched her as she unbuttoned her shorts and slid them off before removing her shirt above her head. He felt like he was watching a movie until she snapped him out of it.

She smiled at him and he went over and threw her over his shoulder as he ran them into the crashing waves as she kicked and screamed.

Thats when everyone else decided to come join them and Ross and Rachel got out to talk to them.

Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe were all standing in a group watching Chandler and Joey try to make it out of the waves and laughing at them as they fell while Ross was sitting in a chair staring lovingly at Rachel. He was so in love with her and knew he would kill himself if he ever messed this up again. Just then he saw a group of guys gawking at Rachel and talking about her while staring. And there it was. That jealousy all over again. He slyly walked up to her and wrapped his arms completely around her waist before passionately kissing her catching her off guard.

"It's hard having a hot girlfriend, you've got to scare all these guys off." he joked as he pulled away nodding in their direction causing them all to look disappointed.

Rachel turned her head and looked back their way and then returning to Ross. "Well we should probably let them know I'm all yours then hm?" she smiled and kissed him back with more meaning than ever and they eventually just walked away.

"I uh.." Ross stuttered after she pulled away and Rachel just giggled.

That night they all went down to the beach again where there was a beach party for everyone.

Ross and Rachel walked down hand in hand when Ross bumped into someone accidentally.

"Oh I'm sorry." he apologized and the woman grabbed his arm.

"oh it's no problem. I'm Andrea." she smiled completely ignoring Rachel.

"I'm Ross." he smiled back and Rachel's face hardened.

"I'm Rachel." she introduced herself butting in. Andrea stuck her hand out to shake it but Rachel kept hers glued to Ross.

"Well it was nice bumping into you but I've got to get back to boring my friends with my dinosaur stories." she teased and started to walk away when Ross stopped her.

"Wait you like dinosaurs too?" he asked completely shocked and happy.

"Yeah! I'm a paleontologist!"

"Me too!" Ross exclaimed and let go of Rachels hand to turn and talk to Andrea.

Rachel became furious and grabbed his hand back but he pulled it back away as he talked to Andrea. Rachel kept grabbing Ross but he would ever so slightly inch her away as he talked.

"Ross.. " she interrupted.

"Rach, can't it wait?"

Rachel then leaned up and kissed Ross letting it linger. "I'm not feeling well baby can we go back to our room." she pouted and Ross looked back at Andrea.

"Is it okay if I stay and talk to her for awhile?" he asked and Rachel gritted her teeth.

"I'll just stay too I guess."

They continued talking until Andrea asked Ross to dance. She pulled him under the tent where they had a wooden floor built and lights and music and they began to dance. It was fast music so they started off just fooling around and laughing and Rachel knew she had to make him jealous somehow. She immediately grabbed a guy and pulled him onto the floor and pushed her back up against him and started grinding on him as she wrapped her arms around his neck from behind. Ross watched them as the man placed his hands on her stomach and made his way down to her hips and thighs and started to make his way over there when Andrea grabbed his arm.

"Hey, don't leave now! We're just getting started!" she smiled and he gave in but keeping a close eye on Rachel.

"shit." she mumbled and knew she had to try a different approach. She turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck and started to move her hips into his as he bent down and put his forehead against hers. She wanted to end this, to stop dancing with him but she wanted Ross to come steal her away but he wouldn't. He kept staring into her eyes and moved his hands down to her butt and tried to kiss her but she just pulled away aggravated and stormed off.

As she left a slow song came on and she turned back to see them dancing together. She walked far down the beach and finally let it all go. She screamed and cried and kicked the sand. He was probably over there making out with her this second.

She sat down in the sand with her face in her knees and cried. She was mad, she was jealous, but most importantly she was scared of losing him to someone that was more fitting for him.

She was snapped out of her trance when she heard him talking.

"Rach! There you are, I was looking everywhere for you!" he panted out of breath running over to her.

Rachel just sat there staring out into the sea while Ross spoke again.

"Baby, I'm sorry, I was just so caught up by the fact that someone was actually interested in what I am that I didn't realize how I was hurting you." he explained pouring his heart out. "I love you, you know I do."

She wiped away a few tears and faced him. "You should be with her." she whispered.

"What?!" Ross yelled in shock "No, Rach I love you!"

"Really." she replied in the same tone as before. "You're interested in the same things, you'll be able to talk about all your sciency things, and use all those smart words I dont know and you'll much rather be with someone that's on the same page as you. I'm not smart like that Ross, and I get bored with your stories, and she's just so compatible with you." by the end of this Rachel was crying and Ross wrapped her up in his arms.

"Rach, I don't care about any of that baby. You are smart. Incredibly smart. And beautiful, and funny, and kind, and no maybe you don't like dinosaurs and science like me but I don't care. Because when I'm with you all that matters is you." he said on the verge of tears kissing her over and over again like he needed to prove it to her. "I love you" he whispered. "I love you."

"How can I prove it to you. Please don't get mad, I couldnt live with myself." he begged.

"just stop being stupid." she whined and Ross smiled and quickly kissed her deeply as he layed her down in the sand and continued to kiss her.
