Lies

The next morning Monica comes rushing over to Rachel's bed and hugs her.

"I had no idea you were awake, none of these lousy doctors told me!" she yelled in her agitated voice.

Rachel just slightly smiled and looked away.

Monica noticed her mood and moves around the bed to look her in the eyes.

"Rach? What's wrong with you? I mean shouldnt you be like bouncing off the walls with happiness?" Monica laughed but stopped once Rachel gave her a serious look

"And why?"

"Because Ross-"

"I don't care about him. Don't talk about him in my presence." Rachel said irritated and glaring at Monica.

"But-"

"I said don't! Okay? He's having a grand ole time shacking up with Emily. It's over." She yells and Monica gives her a confused look.

"I don't understand he went to see Ben in the hospital?"

"Just drop it."

Right then the doctor comes in.

"Miss Green we just need to run a few tests and you'll be able to leave." He says checking her papers. "And don't try anything like this again."

Rachel rolls her eyes and scoffs as Monica's eyes widen.

"what is up with you?" monica gives her a look and leaves as the nurse comes in to take some tests.

A few hours later the doctor comes in to release her. "So everything seems to be fine and I would also like to say congratulations."

Rachel looked at him funny. "for what?"

"You're pregnant." he added and Rachel's mouth dropped open. "no no, there must be a mistake."

"Theres not." he replied. "you're definitely pregnant. You may also go home now."

The doctor left and Rachel began to panick. She was having a baby with Ross. But Ross was married to Emily. She began to cry and panick and she never felt so alone. She got up and began getting dressed when Ross burst through the door.

"Baby, you're awake" He said rushing over to her and grabbing her waist kissing her. Rachel immediately pushed him off.

"What are you doing!?" Rachel asks stepping back.

"Kissing my girlfriend that has just waken up from almost dying. Is that a problem?" he said stepping closer to her again.

"The last thing I remember was you leaving me for London." she said grabbing his hands. "Wait.. You came back for me didn't you."

"always." he smiles and wraps his arms around her as tight as he could. "I came back to tell you how much I loved you but you were.. anyway, I got a phone call about Ben but it turns out it wasn't true, I'm so sorry I wasn't here for you." He apologized and kissed her cheek. "I love you don't you ever to that to me again baby."

"You have no idea how long I've waited to hear that." she said crying into his chest. "And there's one more thing.. I'm.."

"What?"

"I'm pregnant Ross."

As soon as those words left my mouth everyone burst through the door with Emily. Ross distinctively wrapped his arms around Rachel protectively.

"Honey, I'm here." Emily sang out and went over to them.

Ross kept his arms around Rachel and kissed the top of her head. "Emily, it's not working out with us and.. I love Rachel."

Emily face dropped and she went into a rage. "I guess my plan failed then huh? How did she plan on stealing you away again? Hm? The slut."

"You bitch, you lied to me!" Rachel untangled herself from Ross and went for Emily but Joey stopped her. Once he calmed her down he let go off her and Emily shoved her to the ground hard.

Rachel whimpered and Ross immediately knelt down to her.

"Oh she'll be fine." Emily rolled her eyes.

"Emily, she's pregnant!"

The rest of the group gasped and Emily began to cry. "Well that's actually the real reason I came here.. because I'm pregnant too."
