16. Proving them wrong

We headed towards the pack, it was then that I realised that I'd been
running in the wrong direction anyway! Pretty soon we arrived with the rogue in tow and a very angry alpha at the front. He started yelling commands at everyone and then the clearing was filled with movement.
He grabbed my wrist tightly. I could feel a bruise forming but he didn't let go. He dragged me into the house and up the stairs. Adrian shoved me into his bedroom and shut the door.
I turned around and looked into his eyes.

Shit.

They were dark with lust. I slowly and carefully backed away. As I did so Adrian took another step closer. We kept stepping back until something hard hit my back. Not a good move Rae! What sort of assassin backs herself into a corner with an alpha standing in front!

I felt his eyes trail down my body, not missing an inch and suddenly I felt very self conscious. Goddess, what's happening to me!
Heat rose to my cheeks as I ducked my head downwards but soon felt a rough hand lift my chin. Fireworks erupted from our contact.
I looked up at him and saw the raw animalistic hunger in his gaze. The sight made my core wet. My eyes raked over his rock hard muscles and continued to his abs. They looked delicious and all I wanted to do was...stop it. I can't do this.

"I can hear what your thinking love and I suggest you stop before you find yourself sprawled on the bed. I am hanging onto my last thread of control and your not making it easy princess " whispered Adrian into my ear. His husky breath spread over my neck and I subconsciously tilted my head to give him better access.
His warm lips met their way to my shoulder and he brushed them against my sweat spot making me desperately hold in a moan. He kept kissing all around until he finally landed his mouth on my neck. I couldn't hold in a gasp for my life.
I moaned as he continued his journey along my body.
I reached my arms around his neck and the kiss turned into pure lust. I felt Adrian nip my lips and try and open my mouth but I wouldn't give up that easily. All of a sudden I felt a hand on my backside and gasped in shock. My mate took that opportunity and plunged his tongue into my mouth. Our tongues fought for dominance but his won. He explored my whole mouth and his lips silences my mewling of pleasure. I then bit his lip and he growled. The sound vibrated throughout my whole body and sent little sparks of pleasure. His hand started travelling downwards while the other held my in place. Adrian lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist. His hand moved to grip my waist and he pushed my harder into the wall. I gasped and moaned when I felt something hard against my core. I started grinding against him and he growled in appreciation. His lips made their way to my neck again and he sucked my neck hard. Without warning I felt his hand brush over my breasts. I arched my back and pushed my body against his solid one. His hands returned to my breasts and started squeezing them. I growled and tipped my head back against the wall. I had never felt so pleasures in all my life.

"S...stop" Adrian managed to make out. His eyes never left mine and I could still see the desire in them but I couldn't help but feel rejected. I removed my legs from his waist and stood up. Tear were threatening to spill but I wouldn't cry. I hadn't felt this upset before and it was just over him saying one word!
"It's not like that princess, I want you more than you can imagine. But if I don't stop now I don't think I ever could and you might regret it." He explained with sadness in his eyes but I could tell he was still fighting his wolf for control.
"It's alright, really." I answered although feeling a bit sad, "but what if I didn't want you to stop?"
The list returned to his gaze and he said "then i would lie you on that bed and have my ways until you were screaming my name in pleasure"
"Oh" was all I said in return, arousal returning quickly but no words coming out.
"Well we'd better go and make sure the packs ok" he replied and started walking out.
"Don't you think you need a shirt?" I questioned and reached down to grab the one which had somehow ended up on the other side of the room. He chuckled in agreement. It was the best sound in the world.
"Don't you think you need a shirt?" He mocked, copying what I had said. I blushed in embarrassment and fetched my shirt before following him out of the door.

As we went outside I suddenly felt something hit my head. I looked around until I found a rock with what seemed to be a note attached to the side. I quickly slipped it into my pocket without Adrian seeing and carried on behind towards the packs training area. This should be child's play!

When we finally got there I saw practically the whole wolf population standing in front of my eyes - or what seemed to be. Next to me my mate chuckled slightly at my comment which I had apparently said out loud by accident. As we got closer the crowd gradually stopped chatting and lowered their gaze.

Then Adrian starts to speak:
"As I'm sure most of you know by now, this is my mate Rae Stephens. I trust you'll all make her feel welcome and her pack introduction will be in tomorrow." At that comment I looked up at him cautiously. I'd never done an introduction ceremony but I think it decides if you will stay in the pack or leave and if another female wants to challenge my position as I'm suppose to become Luna. All sounds too much in my opinion and make thing even harder to escape.
"But now how about we start to train!" There were many groans in return.
"Alright then, 10 laps around the border and then come back here to stretch. Don't you even think about getting out of it" Adrian continued to order in his alpha tone.
Everyone murmured in reluctant agreement and started running.

I was just about to start when Adrian called "You don't have to do it you know. It might be a bit more than what you're used to as a rogue."
Personally I felts it a bit insulting hit then again he was just trying to care for me.
"I think I'll cope" I answered in return.
"If you're sure you're up to the challenge" he replied smugly and started off ahead of me.
Oh the challenge is on alpha!

After about 10 mins I'd run 7 laps as the others were just starting to tire. Pretty soon if finished all the laps and headed off for some water. It wasn't that hard in reality as normally this was child's play for me and the trial was easy enough to follow.
"Wow that was amazing!" Exclaimed an older lady who had brought the water out.
Soon everyone else was finished and they had similar faces to the lady. Even Adrian was quiet.

Next we moved into individual training. As expected, most of the hits went towards the weights with some girls trailing pathetically after them. I expect that Adrian would be a bit annoyed that I hadn't follow too but I'm not just some puppy.

So I grabbed one of my daggers and walked over to a tree. I took aim and made a perfect shot, naturally. Then I felt some girls move to stand behind me, shock rolling off them in waves. Turning around, I had to reign in all instincts to put the dagger to their throats, I was relieved to see it was just Chloe and some other girls I recognised from the run.

"What was that?!" Chloe sigh lentils shrieked.
"What?" I asked feigning innocence but failing miserably. "Oh that. It was just me practising"
"Where did you learn and just W-O-W!" She carried on. Time to think up a convincing lie.
"You have to have skill when being a rogue" I replied effortlessly and she seemed to take the bait.
"Well still amazing but anyway, I see Adrian introduced you to the pack."
"Yes he had. Oh and hi, it's Anna, Sophie and Eve isn't it?" I asked towards the other girls behind Chloe.
"Yes that's right. Hey, are you ready for your pack introduction?" Eve asked.
"No not really. I'm not even sure what it is to be honest" I answered.
"Well it basically accepts you into the pack. Also, anyone can fight you for the Luna position too. Pretty scary if you ask me and it's times like this when I'm glad I'm just a gamma!" Said Sophie. "Do you think you can fight to the standard of some angry bîtches?"
"Of course she can! Not only was she a rogue, there must have been a few fights and she's still here alive, but also did you just see her aim?! She skilled" replied Chloe while I was a bit embarrassed.  "I think this calls for a shopping trip s I've seen your closet and there are no dresses for the ceremony!"
"Yes!" Everyone else shouted except me
"Why can't I just wear some jeans and a shirt, I'm going to be fighting anyway?" I asked. The girls just rolled their eyes and dragged me towards the garage.
