9. Skills and training

*Rae's POV*

I felt a warm tongue slowly lick my cheek as I woke up. Everything started coming back to me: about how I did the obstacle course - which was really hard by the way! That I found Nigh the kitten, ran away, turned into a vampire and found out I was a hybrid. I sat up, careful not to hurt Ni and looked around.
~It's about 9:15pm~ supplied Ni
~Oh ok thanks, we'd better be getting back before the girls send out a search party~
~Your right. Just head this was and we'll get to the academy in no time~ as he started walked in one direction. I got up and followed him and soon we were at the school. I headed towards the office and Ni followed me. I noticed that he had gone once we got into school and started searching around anxiously.
~Shadow walking - makes you seem invisible. You can do it to in time as anything you can do, I can do~
Oh, I felt some very weird looks that I was getting and quickly walked on. I followed the signs to the top trainer's office and soon got there. I knocked on the door and heard a gruff "Come in" so turned the door knob and entered. The office wasn't very big and sitting on a swirly chair sat a man in sports gear. I realised that at some point I had changed back to normal and was now wearing the same outfit as before.
"Hello sir, I was wondering if I could get my skill before I go to bed. My names Rae"
"Oh yes, you're the one who ran off. You did very well actually." The man said as he searched my name up on his computer. There was an uncomfortable silence between us until he finally broke it.
"It seems like you specialise in weapons and stealth killing. Congrats, that's an uncommon skill and most people rarely even get killing as a speciality. In fact, I'd like to be your personal mentor. You can call me Will" The man told me. "See you tomorrow at 1:30 and be ready for an afternoon of hell. I'd also like to ask you a few questions before that so meet me at the target range hut, OK?"
"Ok" I answered and hen turned around and walked upstairs to the dorm. When I got there everyone was already asleep. Looks like I'll tell them my skills at breakfasts tomorrow then.

When I woke up in the morning I suddenly heard a loud crash from downstairs. There was a pause and then a lot of shouting followed by a few more bangs and crashes. I wonder what's going on?
So I went downstairs after I had got dressed and the whole of the living room and kitchen was a complete mess! I followed the trail of destruction until I came across Josie and Lilly fighting. Once I had come into the room I was soon followed by a yawning and very sleepy Indie.
"What the hell are you guys doing?! You've made a total pigs sty of this place?" I shouted over the noise.
"Yeh" mumbled India along with me.
"Oh it's nothing, just a little disagreement" replied Lilly
"LITTLE!" I carried on my rant.
"She started it anyway by making my tooth paste bright green so now I have green teeth! It was only right that replaced her hair spray with blue spray can." Said Josie carefully as I was probably sounding quite scary by now.
"Why did you do that?" I asked Lilly as I noticed her blue tinged hair and Josie's bright blue teeth - that would take some getting rid of!.
"I dunno, it seemed like a good idea at the time. I'm sorry Lilly" Josie told Lilly
"It's alright, it is the Saturday anyway!" replied Lilly.
"What! I've already been here a week, wow. What do you normally do on the weekends?" I asked.
"Did you never do anything fun on Saturday's? Oh forget I asked that. Well, this morning and possibly this afternoon we practise our special skills with our instructor and then we get the day off. Tomorrow we are allowed to go into town every other Sunday, which is this week, where you can buy anything you need. This school is great!" Josie told me. "Oh by the way, we totally forgot to ask you your skill and how the obstacle course went?!"
"It went alright and was VERY hard! My skills are  weapons and stealth killing with an instruction called Will" I answered.
"Wow! How did you manage to do that well!" They all said at once.
"Woah, what?" I asked unsure about what was so amazing.
"Firstly Will is the top trainer and all of his pupils are at least within the top 10 assassins. Secondly how did you manage to get two skills, one of which being killing?" They shouted slower.
"I don't know to be honest. When I went to the office he just said that. Anyway, where will my training be?" I asked.
"I take a guess that it would be in the woods near the target course. I have shadow walking, Josie has to do the obstacle course and Lilly is doing some sort of computer wiz thing."replied India. "So we'd better get going" and with that we all trudged out of the dorm, leaving the tidying up for this evening. Once outside we went off in our separate directions with me heading into the forest. When I had gotten to the target area without too much difficulty I saw Will waiting there. I walked up to him and said "Hi"
"Oh hi there Rae, didn't see you there. So today we are going to learn how to use all types weapons and find your special one. I might even let you keep the best one"
"Ok, what do I have to do?" I asked him.
"First you have to feel the weapons. I know this may sound weird but go and pick most of them up and chose a couple to place in your belt." Will ordered while pointing over to a stand in the corner. I walked over and looked at the different devices.
There was everything from small daggers to far range guns. I ran my fingers over them all. I came across a set of knives and decided that they would be easy to throw so I picked up a couple of them and placed them into my belt. Then I carried on look and moved onto the larger objects. Two particular swords caught my eye. They were matching and had a ornate gold pattern on the handle with a curved blade, they would fit nicely on your back but could be pulled out quickly if needed. I picked them up too and also grabbed a small hand gun for emergencies. Once ready I walked back over to Will where he asked me to show him the weapons I had chosen. I got out the swords, knives and gun and lauded them on the table in front of him. He examined them and finally said "Good choice. I admire the thoughts about the knives but invade the use of a gun. The swords are interesting though as not many people chose them because the sword only lets a few certain people touch it and see it. They must like you" well that's not weird at all!
We then started use all of my chosen weapons. It turned out that I did best with the swords and the worst with the gun.
"Looks like we know what we need to work on" said Will as I just caught the outside ring of the final target. "But your hand to hand combat skills are amazing. As I said before those swords very rarely get picked up but let alone be used successfully. They were created by the moon goddess and given to us. Ok, spill. There's something special about you as don't try to hide it. I won't tell anyone and I can help you work better then"
And with that I explained everything from the hybrid bit to being a princess.  I told everything except about being the moon goddess's daughter. By the end Will was speechless.
"Wow that is amazing, I won't tell a soul. It now explains how you re so good with very little training. Any troubles come to me ok?" Will responded. He took it better than I thought he would.
It was the end of the lesson as the lunch bell had just gone so I started heading back. Just as I was about to get to the edge of the woods I started feeling extreme pain again.
^What's happening?!^
^You're shifting again. Get further into the wood and this one won't hurt as much^ Deca and Luna quickly said. So I ran deeper in with all my weapons still on me. After a few minuets the pain suddenly disappeared. Looks like they were telling the truth. My bones then started shifting but no much and it don't hurt that much as promised. It I the wildest thing to feel like your arm are breaking but it doesn't hurt. Soon it had all ended,I looked down and saw my new outfit. It was a darkened dress with black lace. I was wearing black high heels and had brown hair. In one hand was a silver end with red swirls twirled around it - it was beautiful.
^Hi I'm Reina and I'm your witch invade you hadn't figured that out. Your just about to faint so speak to you later^
^Ok^ I replied while processing the information. Wait, I'm going to faint again!!! Like Reina had said I started to feel faint and soon collapsed.
I woke up again pretty soon (quicker than my other transformations) and sat up. I was laying in my bed in the dorm. How odd!
^It was your teleportation powers. You can also control the elements, read he future though I wouldn't suggest it and move things.^
^Thanks for the information Reina!^ I was so tired after that that I just flopped down into my bed again and fell asleep.
