Cling! Clang! Was all I was paying attention to.Getting ready for one more final yet lethel blow,I was stopped."This isn't you merlin.Your not a killer. Your better than him."

Arthur was right I'm not him. As much as he's trying to trick me to be I'm not. Pinning him down."Do It Merlin!Prove to me your worthy."He spat. Gracefully swishing my sword above my head. Ready to strike.

"Noo!"

The sword hit the ground with a clank."I'll never be like you."I said as I turned my back. Ready to walk off.

"As I thought. Your as weak as your father. Nothing but a bunch of cowards!...Despuesk!"He grunted. Quick to my feet, I duck down dodging his attack as I grabbed my sword and attack. He cringed."This isn't over!" He said disappearing as quickly as he came.

Without hesitation I ran over towards my brother to heal him. As I'm about done I look up to see Lancelot and Elyan lifting up my brother. Nodding to them as a thanks as they headed to the physician's quarters. Darting my attention to the servant that delivered the message."Tell the Elders Council meeting in five minutes. Send two of our soldiers to my mother and Gaius and bring them back here without harm."I informed.

Nodding his head he replied."Yes Sire!"

As he left forgetting that Gwaine, Arthur and Percival were still in the room I turned around hitting the table and cringing at the aftermath."Merlin it's okay you know that right." Percival responded.

I couldn't do this right now. I needed to think, and in order to do that I needed to be alone. Ignoring them I turned on my heel as my cape swayed behind me while I walked out with only one thought within my head.

Sorry Arthur.

Arthur's POV

I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed with my own eyes.

"Merlin!" we called after him as he walked out.

He ignored us and I mean who could blame him. He watched his Kingdom tumble to the ground and he couldn't do nothing about it. He-WAIT!Merlin is a crown prince?Merlin has Magic? This can't be happening I mean he's Merlin. Clumsy, overly-chipper Merlin. Yeah,he could be wise at times, but...Who am I kidding he's doing a fine job right now.

He's my best friend. Yet he lied to me. He could of told me but he didn't. Instead he kept quiet and let me assume he was an clumsy-idiot, for eight years straight.

Turning to Gwaine,Lancelot and Percival, with hurt and mixed emotions."So Merlin!"I chuckled gathering my now jumbled thoughts."A Prince Huh?!?"

Gwaine looks up at me with a smile."Yeah who would of known that the King of Camelot had been letting a Crown Prince muck out his stables." He bursts out laughing.

Realization hits me. I can't believe I had him doing that. Or the fact that I turned away his mother when she needed help at first. Well technically it was my father who did that but still, I feel so awful and at fault. I really shouldn't be angry at him. After all he is my best friend even if he lied."One with magic at that." Percival retorted.

"What do we do?"I questioned.

"We have to be there for him, like nothing have changed regardless, to him being a prince and having magic." Percival responded.

"He's a Prince but our brother and friend none the less." Lancelot cooed.

They were right. Merlin would never give up on us. Especially since we all been through so much together. Regardless of anything I'll stick by him to the end of it all.

The door swings open knocking me out of my thoughts. As men and women enter the council chambers in dark blue robes. Finally noticing our presence, they stopped midway. One of them raised there head to speak as Lancelot and the others walk over towards us."State your presence." the person said in what stated as a feminine voice.

As I'm about to answer, their question gets answered by none other than Merlin himself."Nid oes angen Ingrid. Now byddwn ( There's no need Ingrid. Now shall we.)

The group of people who I now believe are the Aratheial Elders turned around to face Merlin as they nodded out of respect for their prince. Sitting down as merlin sat in his throne we began the meeting.

"Does anyone know a save route to Landen and back from Aratheial?" merlin asked.

Landen?

Merlin's POV

If I ask them about Landen maybe just maybe I could throw off whoever is the trader but in all truth I already know who it is.

"Sire if you don't mind me asking but why are you so eager to go to Landen?" Clyde questioned.

I fixed myself and stood up."Ostende mihi Aratheial Emerald" I enchanted. As my eyes flashed gold and a dark blue gem appeared resting on a architectural stone in a mountain, I blew the orb towards the middle so the others can get a better viewing..

"But sire, I thought the Emerald was a myth." Regé replied as he stood up in shock.

"As did I,but it was called to my intention that my father had it hidden from our enemies within Landen. I will leave after this meeting and head there."I explained. Noticing the fear for my safety on their faces I smirked."Don't worry I won't be alone. I'll have King Arthur assisting me and him alone. That is all."I reassured them.

Mummering about. Both elders and knights arguing."Enough! Council dismissed." I informed. Pointing to Arthur as I was heading out."Meet by the training grounds in fifteen minutes."

"But Mer-merlin" He whined.

"Sir Devin will show you the way." I said.

It's about time I visted my brother.
