"What about me?" Loki asked, placing a hand on your back. You jolted in shock, staring up at him. You had buried your face into the pillow. "Where am I going to sleep?"

"I don't particularly want you in my house, so you don't get to." You said, glaring.

"Oh come now, gods still need sleep." He spoke.

"You're a demi-god. "

"I'm still classed as a normal god of mischief, even if I am a frost-giant."

"Add annoyance to the title." You laughed quietly. You heard him chuckle. "Why haven't you tried to take me over yet. You know, brainwash me? Like you did to Hawkeye?" He stared at you in surprise. You remembered him telling you about the little Chitauri incident, and how he gained most of his followers

"Well it might be the fact that brains are selective. Hearts, on the other hand, are not."

"Be specific, jerkface." He sighed at the nickname.

"Minds, are weak, feeble things that can only be controlled for so long. That is why I cannot 'brainwash' you. Brains are controlled only by what one believes in, or thinks of. Hearts on the other hand, are powerful, but can be broken in a matter of seconds.

"Hearts are like the Asgard of humans. The control centre, as you Midgardians say. They can be breached, but although it is hard for one to do so, it is possible. All you need is for the human or subject to trust, believe in or even show affection to you, and then they can be controlled." He explained, and you sat next to him, listening with caution. "Did that answer your question?"

"Yeah, but don't even think about trying to control me. I've got a freakin' antivirus on my heart now, so don't even try it."

"Anti... Virus?"

"Technology term." He chuckled. "But going back to the sleep thing, where would you sleep? I don't want you in my room. But Mom and Dad'll find you in the living room, and if they don't my brother will... You could sleep in the bath-tub... Mine is the only room without an en-suite. Even so, by brother likes to use it..."

"I could sleep on the couch in here?" He suggested.

"I don't want your evil-ness germs all over my couch... I'll get you a sleeping bag..." You climbed off the bad, and went over to the wardrobe. It took you a solid three minutes to find it. Your blue, campers sleeping bag. He followed you, but gasped at what you wanted him to sleep in.

"I can't sleep in that!"

"Too scared there might be spiders in there? If it's such a big deal, sleep in my bed. I'll just change the sheets tomorrow." You teased, placing your hands on your hips. He sighed in annoyance. "I'll go get some p-js for you... Prissy little princess..."

"As much as I prefer to leave my armour on, I agree that pyjamas might actually be useful." You smiled at his answer. That was the first thing you two were able to agree on. You left the room, and entered the laundry. You searched around, eventually finding a clean pair of your brother's pyjama pants. Loki can borrow one of my gigantic shirts, you thought, slinging them over your shoulder.

As you entered your room, most of his armour was already off, but a green tunic and his trousers. You squealed, and turned around. You heard him quietly double over laughing.

"What is it?" He asked, walking over. You could feel the amount of space behind you get even smaller, as he approached. Your face was bright red. He grabbed the pants on your shoulder, and deliver a quick kiss to the forehead. You were about to protest, but you remembered, he still needed a shirt. You walked over to your wardrobe, careful not to face him, and reveal your crimson cheeks. You stared through all your clothes until you found a shirt, that would fit him, with a design sure to piss him off. It was a Captain America's shield on it. You threw it behind you, and heard it land on Loki's head. "You have got to be kidding me." You started giggling.

"I did it to piss you off." You said. You didn't want to turn around.

"Well, he never really did. But still, why?"

"Never mind. Can I turn around yet?" You asked, steadily growing impatient. A minute passed.

"Now you can." You heard him sigh, and your turned around. He glared at you, watching you laugh. He suddenly started to join in.

"What? What did i do?"

"You're starting to trust me." He said, our of the blue.
