"What?" You scowled. "I am not! Why the hell would I trus-" You were interrupted by your parents calling your name. Loki already knew what to do. He speedily grabbed all his armour, and hid it under the bed, along with him. Your mom opened the door.

"I know you're not a kid any more, but your dad and I need to sleep. Quiet down, ok?" She said. The moment she said that, you blushed. "Hon, you ok?"

"Umm, yeah. I'm just tired. That's all. See you in the morning." She said goodnight, hugged you, and closed the door. You let out a relieved sigh and locked it. Loki climbed out from under the bed, smirking.

"Was that your mother? She seemed almost pleasant." He said, earning himself a one-fingered salute. "What?"

"That was highly disturbing, now shut up, and go to sleep." You whispered threateningly. He chuckled quietly, and climbed into your bed. You pulled the sleeping bag onto the couch and crawled inside.

Normally you would have not moved around, but stayed completely still. You would have acknowledged the guest's need for sleep. But, seeing as it was only Loki, you didn't care. The sleeping bag was uncomfortable, and insulated, making it extremely warm. You jostled about, groaning in discomfort.

"Dang it!" You whispered loudly, hearing a quiet chuckle from Loki.

"It seems that you are having trouble falling asleep."

"Nuh-fucking-duh. What about you? Getting comfy in my bed..."

"Well I am a frost giant. I can control my body temperature."

"Could you fix the AC?"

"I could become your 'AC'"

"Don't ever say that again. Just, no. That's disgusting."

"Fine then, if you want to stay uncomfortable, stay there."

"I swear, if the term 'Mischief' means 'lust', then I'll kick your ass." You sigh, climbing out of the incredibly stuffy sleeping bag, and into your bed. Loki shifted over, and opened his arms wide.

"No, mischief does not include lust, for that matter." You glared, climbing in next to him. He wrapped his arms around you.

"Lok-"

"Just wait..." Suddenly, you started to feel cooler, then too cool. You started shivering. "Too cold?" He asked, accepting your nod. "This should balance it out." He said, pulling the covers up closer to your chins.

"What was that you said about trusting you?" You asked, getting sleepier every second.

"You're starting to trust me, aren't you?" He said.

"No. Not a chance in hell."

"Then why did you permit me to stay here?"

"I didn't know who you were at first. It was only seven in the morning and I was only just awake."

He continued on with; "Why did you allow me to sleep in your bed? Why did you let me wrap my arms around you and cool you down when you realise I could kill you at any second?" Your heart skipped a beat, realising this was true. You scowled, knowing he was right. You felt him start playing with your hair.

"Stop playing with my hair, and go to sleep already." You quietly snapped.

"Goodnight, human." He whispered.

"'Night Loki. I hope the bed-bugs bite." You laughed quietly, and fell asleep."
