You and Loki left the house, you in somewhat of a putrid mood, and Loki in one not any better. You were meeting your future-ex at the same park, you found Loki in. He was walking slowly, like he was plotting something evil.

"Hey!" Called your boyfriend, who looked smug, and you saw a figure of someone behind a tree. It couldn't have been Loki, you could see him in your peripheral vision. Your boyfriend walked over to you, and you could see in his eyes that he was up to no good. "I can see you got my text."

"Yeah, anyway. I wanted to say..." You started.

"I want to break up with you." You both spoke in unison. He gasped, and slowly walked closer. You turned and waved. You heard him call out your name. You stared at him, hate flowing through your veins.

"I hope we can still be friends..." He said, a female's figure slowly walking towards him. She was short, ginger and had bright green eyes. Your ex
wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Not going to happen. Now that you and Ginger are going out, already, friends isn't an option." You snapped, storming off. You walked into the local park, and slumped down onto a pench. Don't cry, you told yourself repeatedly. Crying is not part of the plan.

•Loki's POV•

I slowly walked over to her ex. He was smiling, and talking to the red-haired-low-life Midgardian girl. I tapped him on the shoulder. He whirled around, earning himself a nice broken nose, thanks to my fist.

"If I ever see you talk to her again, it will be more than your nose I break." I hiss. He stands up, clutching his nose.

"Why should you even care?" He retorted. "I made a mistake even asking her to go out with me. She's a loser, and everyone knows it. Now fuck off before I return the blow." He raised his fist, surprised at my lack of flinches.

"Try it. I dare you." I snarled. I wanted to throw the hood off, but maybe that could wait. He aimed a punch to my jaw, only to have me grab his arm, and twist, making him fall to the concrete beneath us. I knelt down to his level. Now he had a bleeding and broken nose, and a twisted wrist.

"W-wha' are you?" He asked, obviously trying to restrain himself. I tilted my head back, laughing. The hood fell off.

"I am Loki Laufeyson, god of mischief and lies. Acquaintance of your 'ex', as you pathetic humans say. And enemy, of just about everyone. Now, if you don't mind, I am going to go and comfort my friend." I say, pulling the hood back on. I stood up, turned around and started walking. The boy was in shock. She was sitting on a bench further in the gardens. I slowly walked over, and sat next to her.

"It's alright..." I said, embracing her. She jolted, and stared at my hand.

"You're bleeding!" She said.

"It is not my blood. It is the blood of that 'Jerk'. I punched him in the nose." She started laughing. "Is that alright?"

"That's awesome. The little asshat deserved it. Thanks for that Loki."

"I'll repeat myself, it's alright, love."

"Don't call me 'love'. It's weird."

"Darling?"

"No

"Beautiful?"

"Stop it."

"Psycho?"

"You're an asshole Loki." She said, embracing me more. She started humming, and then she began singing.

"Sometimes I hate every single stupid word you say. Sometimes I wanna slap you and your whole face. There's no one quite like you. You push all my buttons down. I know, life would suck without you.

At  the same time, I wanna hug you. I wanna wrap my hands around your neck. You're an asshole, but I-" She stopped mid sentence. I stared at her, confused by the sudden stop in her beautiful voice,

"What is wrong?" I asked, pulling away from the 'hug'. "Did you forget the lyrics?

"I know them, I'd just prefer not to sing the next few parts for now." Her face was bright red. I smiled, grasping her chin. She pulled her face away, and hid it behind her hair.
