You hung onto Loki's arm as he walked you into a fast food stop. He sat you down, and stared at you carefully.

"A skeleton." You said.

"I know, calm down." Loki sighed.

"But a skeleton! A real walking, talking skeleton!" You almost shouted. He grabbed your forearms gently.

"Calm down. Normally, I would get beaten by someone like that for nearly destroying a major city for the magical community, however, the Skeleton and his partner needed something to help them, and I gave it to them... however, I find it strange that they're here instead of their usual nation."

"Ireland?"

"Yes." Loki said. "Mr. Pleasant is a highly unusual character, and not just because of his appearance, but also because of his power. He used to be a war man, who went on insane missions, or a evil war general who killed many. He's a special case." Loki explained.

"What about Valkyrie?"

"I barely know her, actually."

"You're kidding."

"Not at all. Now, we best be leaving before I get beaten for keeping you out so long." He grinned, kissing you on the forehead. Your face flushed and he helped you stand up.

--

"CATCH ME." You shouted, running towards him. Loki shouted, and instantly held his arms out to catch you. The table your had been working at started rattling and you ran faster at Loki. You leapt, colliding with him and the force of the exploding table pushed you both to the ground. You were lying on top of him, and he was groaning in pain. He glared up at you.

"Don't do that." He groaned.

"Don't do what?" You asked, grinning. You turned your head around to look at the charred remains of a table.

"Make things blow up. That's Thor's job, not yours." He said.

"Yes, but I make it look cooler."

"Actually, you make it look stupid and I often wonder how explosions haven't killed you yet, since they happen around you so much."

"I am explosion-proof."

"Not yet." He said. "You're still learning how to use your magic and I am very tempted to call Skulduggery and have him teach you."

"I am not going to be taught how to have fun by a skeleton."

"Valkyrie will be with him."

"I might be taught how to have fun by a skeleton." You said, and Loki laughed, his chuckles rattling though his torso, and you could feel them perfectly, since you were lying on top of him. You rolled off of him, and stood up, walking towards the black mark on the floor. Loki followed your example. Tony emerged from the doorway.

"Don't blow up my tables." He grumbled. "I need those for work."

"I was working." You said. "I was making something cool."

"Like what?" Tony asked, glancing at you and then the floor. "Miniature bombs."

"No, I was making Liquid-nitrogen bombs... and I accidentally set off a cannonball from the masterpiece over by the wall." You explained. Tony glared. Loki rolled his eyes at the both of you.

"Nerd." Tony said.

"Dork."

"Be sensible you two, or will I have to intervene." Loki grumbled. He nudged you and you manipulated the air, cleaning up the ashes that littered the floor, placing them into a dustbin. Tony didn't complain anymore, and wandered off somewhere else in the lab. You took that as a way of you "leave me alone.", and did just that. You pulled Loki away and into the hallway. He followed glumly.

"What?" You asked, looking up at him.

"He seems on edge. Something's not right here."

"Nothing ever is." You mumble, walking towards the elevator.

--

It had been a few hours since your table-explosion, and as Loki had said, something wasn't right. Everyone was busy, besides you and Loki. You went to ask Tony or Thor, but all they said was to let them work. You gave Loki a quick glance before storming over to Natasha and staring at the computer.

"Not now-" She started

"What's going on?" you snapped at her. "No one else will tell us. If we're supposed to help, then tell us."

"No one trusts you that much."

"They wouldn't trust you much either."

"And they have every reason not to." She mumbled, typing away. "And you make too much fuss over a simple thing."

"I want to help!" You snapped.

"Then help somewhere else!" She yelled back. You glared at her, before storming off. Loki joined your stride as you stomped towards you room.

"Not much help?" He asked.

"Nope." You hissed. A the door opened to your room. "Jarvis! Show me what everyone's so tightassed about!" You snapped.

"I'd advise again-" It started saying.

"I don't care! I need to know if something is going on so I can try to stop it!" If Jarvis could roll it's eyes, it would. The mirror in the ensuite became a computer screen and you watched what looked like surveillance footage from a hidden camera somewhere. Loki peered at it closer.

"Enlarge it." he said.

The image got larger, and Loki glared. "Lucifer is coming. And he's got Miss Potts and a whole army under his command."
