Squad 34 I want these men, Johnson, Simmons, Greglos aka Ack Ack, Balance, Grinder, and several other that won't be named. "Squad 34, go! Go!" Said the cockswain. We ran out of the Higgins boat. I Ack Ack took the lead. As I stepped off the ramp I fell into deep water. Everyone else followed. We struggled to get off our packs when a bullet killed our sarge. Then a bullet hit my helmet nocking it off. I popped up and started swimming toward the shore. I got to the shore just after Simmons he was yelling, Run! When suddenly I felt something hit me then fell to the ground.
Here they come! I yelled. The man on the A A gun suddenly got ripped up. Someone yelled get on the bloody thing. I hopped on it. I felt right at home and started firing. Everyone saw it and said that since I liked so much that my new nick name was going to be Ack Ack. Then boom I snapped back to reality. I grabbed a M1 and started running.
I ran right after Ack Ack. As soon as I hit the water I fell to the bottom of the reef. I tore off my pack and popped up. The only thing I knew I could do was swim to the shore. When I reached the shore I still had my carbine. I looked back and saw Ack Ack. I yelled, Run! Instead he fell face first onto the ground. In a spew of red mist the man I was behind had his head blew open. I knew I had to get out of there so I ran to the wall.
Ballence go I heard behind me. So I ran like I never ran before. Then I slammed into the ocean. I was determined not to die not here on some beach in France. I got rid of my weapon threw off my pack. Then the bullets started slicing through the water. My helmet suddenly jerked me up out of the water. I was up there in the blood red water with all the dead. Young men who were missing arms, legs, and even heads. I started gathering my strength I swam toward the beach. Suddenly it hit me like a train. A bullet passing through my chest. Then I woke up. I threw up water and blood. But ran to the wall for protection.
