Ch. 6
The next three days went on as I expected. I stayed home rather than go to the doctor because I repeatedly told my parents I was fine. The swelling and bruise on my cheek went down, so my parents let me just rest. I let Hannah come over, and seeing me made her sad, even though she didn't know I had been beaten up. But either way, my ribs still hurt so we didn't mess around. I told her that I just wanted to cuddle so we layed in bed for hours just letting me hold her until she left around eight at night.
Then I went back to school. That was alright, even though all the moving around and rough-housing with my friends made me hurt. I hid the pain though and stuck it through, and it ended up not being a bad day. Hannah drove me home and she stayed over, regardless of her dad's multiple texts to go home. I was happy and slept well that night, because she was there beside me, in my protective hold.
My ribs stopped hurting after a week or so, and then I took Hannah home with me and had fun, since my family wasn't there that night. They were all either working or staying somewhere else for the night. It felt good, right. Like being with her alone in that house was right. I can't wait until we live together, away from our parents.
Author's Note: Sorry this chapter is so short, I just wanted to update a bit.
