Ch. 12

(two days later)

I groaned as my alarm clock went off, waking me from a pleasant dream. I reached over and slapped the snooze button, then cuddled closer to Hannah. I sat up quickly.

Hannah wasn't there.

I immediately stood up, my mind spinning from the sudden movement, my brain clouded with sleep. I stumbled out of the bedroom, almost hitting my head on the door frame as I staggered through.

"Oww," I groaned, holding a hand to my throbbing head.

"You okay babe?" I heard Hannah call from the kitchen.

"Yeah, I just got up too fast. You weren't in bed when I woke up," I replied, shaking my head a little.

"I know. I was making breakfast. I know that you've got your first appointment today." She walked up to me and gave me a kiss.

"You made breakfast? With your cooking skills? Haha!" I joked.

She punched me in the arm. "Shut up! I'm not that bad!" she protested.

"I know, I know. I'm just teasing you," I told her and kissed her deeply. She kissed back, then pulled away.

"Come on, before the food gets cold," she said, then grabbed my hand and began pulling me into the kitchen.

I smiled and followed her.

An hour later I was full, my face clean and washed, my hair straightened and styled. I had my favorite outfit on: a red button-up shirt under a black waistcoat (vest), dark jeans, and my black Converse's.

Hannah looked up at me as I strutted out of the bathroom and giggled, a light blush appearing on her full cheeks.

"You look sexy," she said with a cute smile, as if it were our first date.

I felt myself turn a little red. "Thanks, babe." I leaned forward and kissed her cheek.

"It's the truth. You ready to go?" she asked.

"Yep," I said with a curt nod.

I grabbed the keys and we walked out the door.

As we reached the car, I opened up the car door and let Hannah in the passenger's side. She kissed my cheek before she settled into the seat.

When I shut the door I took the time to really notice her looks. She had such beautiful, colorful hair that I longed to run my fingers through. I loved the shape of her eyes, her golden-brown irises outlined with black from her eyeliner. The glasses she wore that looked perfect framing her face, her full cheeks and button nose with her nose stud. I loved the nose ring, but I had heard her complain about it being uncomfortable once so I didn't say anything. I just find the ring to be hotter, more - for lack of a better word - attractive on her. She wore a nice T-shirt that had Andy Biersack's upper torso and face on it, the name Black Veil Brides scrawled across the top. Over that she had a see-through black jacket-like thing with white skulls all over it. She had my favorite beanie on her head (I call them urban turbans), and red skinny jeans with black boots covering her legs and feet. The shape of her body - undescribable. She's called herself fat and a cow and everything in between, but she doesn't see what I see. I just admire her body. She isn't fat, she's perfect. Her curves, just the right amount of fat on her body, it makes me shiver thinking about it. She said she wanted to lose weight, so I couldn't stop her, even though I loved her just the way she was. She's been on a steady pace of losing weight, she's gotten smaller. I still love her. I'd love her if she was bigger than she used to be. Either way. I thought she was just perfect the way she was. But she wanted to be smaller so I let her. I know what it's like to not feel happy with your body.

"Felix? You gonna get in?" Hannah asked, knocking on the window of the car and jerking me out of my reverie.

"Uh, yeah, sorry," I said, shaking my head and walking around the car and sliding into the driver's sear.

"Whatcha thinking about?" she asked me, her face getting a worried look.

I smiled at her. "Nothing, just looking at you."

I started the car and pulled out, leaving the apartment and starting towards the therapist's office.

Today seems like a good day.
