We went around the city, into different kingdoms, and in the woods.
We founf nothing. Not a scent of any of them.
"Where in earth are they keeping them.." I growled.
"They must be keeping them where we wouldn't bother to look. In plain sight or something.." finn answered.
We were walking around in the castle to look for clues, when my nose got something.
With wide eyes, I ran away from the group, hearing them call after me.
Marceline followed after me.
"You smell them too?" I grinned.
"Yeah. They're near. But where..?" She looked around.
We stopped in the middle of the garden, where the scent was stronger.
It was everywhere. We just didn't notice it because why would we look in the garden? Its filled with flowers and plants.
Something's not right here, I'm sure of it.
"Where are they. Their scents are literally everywhere..!" Marceline growled.
We looked around, searching every bush and every corner of the maze hedge.
"Found anything?" Finn and Fionna yelled.
A chorus of no and nopes yelled around.
"Where the flip are you Alexa..."
*Alexa's*
My eyes widened. Marshall's scent was literally everywhere by now!
"They're here.. but where are they.." Alex sighed.
A thought occurred to me making me grin.
"I know how he can find us.."
"How?" Alex raised an eyebrow.
I smirked proudly.
"If there's one thing Marshall always hears, it's my voice. He can literally hear me even from a million miles away."
"So? How will they even find us here? We don't even know where we are!"
I chuckled and smiled at him.
"You're me right?"
"Yeah?"
"Then you can sing. Can't you?"
"Yes I can.."
He seemed it have realized it already cause he popped a huge grin.
"We sing!" He laughed.
"You got it!"
We sat up properly and a song popped in my head.
"If you're me, then before we got demon napped, you must've wrote a new song. Right?"
"Yeah. Yeah i did! That's what we're singing?"
I nodded.
"Yep. On my count..one..two..sing.."
We inhaled deeply and slowly sang.
