I thought I'd start this book with someone that I'm pretty sure everyone either is or knows. We're living in a generation full of awkward teenagers who never quite know what to say when they first meet people and tend to spend more time talking to their friends online than people in real life.
Being awkward is now just the norm and everyone tends to be slightly awkward- especially when meeting new people.
As much as I hate being awkward, it's jus something that I've accepted as a part of me. I may not ever be the life of the party or the confident person everyone aspires to be, but at least I know how to make sarcastic jokes about how awkward a situation is!
