The Social Climber is the type of person who seems to only ever care about being cool and hanging around the 'cool' kids. They will fake their way to the top of the pecking order if they have to, and will drop friendships as easily as pouring water.
This is the type of person who ends up never having any true friends, and is generally quite lonely. While they may party every night and have thousands of Facebook friends, they lack any substantial relationships.
