Third Person's Point of View

Walking across the mountain, it was cold, well Celeblasdes and Legolas were fine the cold wasn't something that bothered them. So why would have done so then, treading through the white fluffiness, Celeblasdes was having fun. Picking up handfuls she let it melt threw her fingers, until one of the hobbits; Pippin, walked next to her and showed her how to make a snowball, once she had it down she stood up and had no idea what to do with it,

"you throw it, like this." Demonstrating he threw his ball at Merry who had been talking to Sam, "oy! What're you doing?" Sam shouted and Pippin started to laugh which made Celebalasdes laugh. Purposely throwing her snowball softly she hit Gímli in the back of the head, but he had stepped on ice making him fall face first into the snow.

Legolas who had been walking beside the stout dwarf and let out a slight snicker before joining Gandalf at the front. Celeblasdes made another snowball and aimed for her brother and caught him right in the shoulder and just as he turned around she spun and looked somewhere else, rolling his eyes he turned back to the front only to get another snowball only to the head this time, looking at his sister she was kneeling in the snow with a snowball in the making in her hands.

Glaring he was getting slightly annoyed and when she saw she smiled and changed targets looking to the Gondorian she took aim and released getting him square in the shield. But still caught his attention. Turning nobody had noticed his own snowball and when he threw it; it hit Celebalasdes in the shoulder laughing she twirled and landed in the snow arms out and legs apart. Wiggling her arms and legs up and down and side to side she made a figure in the snow.

Smiling she ran over to Aragorn and pulled him over to what she had made, smiling he chuckled and nodded, "that is very nice Celeblasdes but we need to go." Smiling she nodded and they picked up their pace. Aragorn was pleased that there would be someone in the group to keep their spirits up, because this journey might kill some of them and he hoped it wasn't her or Frodo. Going up an incline Frodo stumbled and fell, "Frodo!" Aragorn shouted catching the young Hobbit.

Brushing off the snow he felt no ring around his neck, looking to where he fell it sat in the cold snow by Boromir's feet, the man picked it up and stared at it possessively. "Boromir." Aragorn called to him, "'tis a strange fate, that we should fear and suffer doubt over something so small...such a little thing." About to close his hand around the gold band, Celeblasdes released her snowball hitting Boromir right in the face.

Realizing what he was doing walked back over to Frodo and Aragorn he handed the little hobbit his burden and smirked as if nothing happened, "as you wish," Frodo yanked the ring from his hand and stared at Boromir in fright, and worry, "I care not." Chuckling he ruffled Frodo's hair walking past the she-elf he nodded, "nice shot." She turned up her lip in a half smile and jogged over to Frodo, "are you okay? You took quite a tumble." He nodded and hugged her in thanks. Then jogged to keep up with Sam.

A few hours had passed and everyone was now waist deep in snow except for Legolas and Celeblasdes. They walked across the snow as if it were the forest ground back home.

For some reason Celeblasdes was afraid to walk past Gandalf the idea that he might think it would be funny to trip one of the elves would have made a good laugh

For some reason Celeblasdes was afraid to walk past Gandalf the idea that he might think it would be funny to trip one of the elves would have made a good laugh. But hiding her fear she knelt near Aragorn and he without question handed Frodo and Sam to her, while he took Marry from Boromir lightening the weight he was carrying. Staying close to the mountain walls she walked above the snow while her brother walked ahead having heard or saw something. "There is a fell voice in on the air."

He said not loudly by clearly so that everyone could hear. "It's Saruman!!" Gandalf shouted as a lightning bolt struck out and hit the top of the mountain causing rock to fall past everyone. "He's trying to bring down the mountain! Gandalf we must turn back!" Aragorn shouted, "no!" Gandalf called back and stepped onto the raised part with Legolas's help. Shouting back into the air he try ode countering what Saruman was throwing but Gandalf was cold and tired and didn't have the focus to properly counter the ex-white wizard.

Suddenly lightning struck and snow unlodged from the cliff above the fellowship Legolas pulled Gandalf out of the way while Celeblasdes used her body to protect Frodo and Sam. Her armour kept the snow from crushing them. Once it settled everyone pushed free of the snow, Legolas reached in where Gímli vanished and pulled him free, then moved to help his sister free the two hobbits and herself. "Gandalf we must get off the mountain! Make for the gap of Rohan, and take the west road to my city!" "The gap of Rohan leads us too close to Isengard!" Aragorn countered,

"If you cannot pass over the mountain let us go under it! Let us go through the mines of Moria." Gandalf was all against doing that, but he turned to look at Frodo, "let the ring-bearer decide." Frodo looked around terrified and hoping someone would save him from making the choice. "We cannot stay here this will be the death of the Hobbits!" Boromir rushed "Frodo?" Gandalf added to the hobbits pressure. "We will go through the mines." Gímli was grinning happily while the two men sighed in relief but the wizard and two elves knew something was different with that place.

"So be it." Gandalf said coldly.
