Chapter Four: Let's Go

Conor's POV
We were just at my house, hanging out. Ashley was on her phone watching videos of cute animals while I was gaming.

"Hey babe" I started. "Yes?" She said not looking away from her phone.

"Let's do something different this weekend. We always go to the arcade or game at my place"

"Omg this is too cute!!" She exclaimed
"Okay sorry, what did you have in mind?"

"Wanna go out of town for a day? Go see the city, check out some games and grab some dinner afterwards?" I suggested.

"Omg yes, that sound so much fun! How about we go to Chicago?" She replied excitedly.

"I think that's a great idea! I can borrow my dad's car so we can drive there. You just make sure to bring your cute face, which definitely won't be a problem" I squished her face.

"Ow babe stop it, you're hurting my face" she started laughing.

I pouted "But it's so cute"

"I know, yours is okay I guess.." she teased and started squishing my face too.

After a few minutes of being a cheesy couple squishing each others faces and laughing about it I said:

"It's settled then. I'll pick you up at 9 am sharp" I said smiling and pecking her cheek.

"I'll be ready. Can't wait!" She smiled back.

~ The next day ~

Ashley's POV
I am sooo excited to go to Chicago with Conor. Just the 2 of us, without the other guys. Don't get me wrong I love those guys, but they can be a liiitle crazy for my being sometimes. Conor said he'd pick me up at 9 am and it's already 7:30.
I hopped out of bed, took a shower and got dressed. I decided to wear a white tank top with some patterned shorts and a cardigan. I decided to wear a bathing suit just in case we visit the pool or something (outfit's seen above).

I put on foundation and  mascara and a little bit of lipgloss. I threw my hair up in a ponytail so it won't bother me since we would probably be on the move all day.

Conor's POV
It's Chicago day! I'm so looking forward to a day with Ashley. Today's guaranteed to be full of fun and gaming.

I was in the car, just driving to Ashley's.
I was texting her while I was on my way (don't worry, I only texted her when I was at a stop sign)

Babe ❤: Good morninggg 💕
Me: Hey babe, I'm omw now :)
Babe ❤: Okay that's good, how long till you get here?
Me: Hmm 15 mins?
Babe ❤: Okayy, wait you're not texting and driving are you 😰
Me: Noooo...? 😁
Babe ❤: Honey don't do that, it's dangerous! I'm gonna get breakfast, be safe okay 😘
Me: Will do, see you soon 😍
Babe ❤: 👏👏💕💕😍😍

Ashley's POV
Conor just texted me that he was on his way to my house. I walked downstairs and got myself some breakfast. My parents weren't awake yet but they knew I was heading out early. I decided to leave them a note just to make sure they know I already left.

"Dear mom and dad,
going to Chicago for the day with Conor. Have fun at grandma's today, I'll try to bring something back for you.
Love you lots and see you tonight ❤
- Ashley - "

Just then I heard a soft knock on the front door. That must be Conor. I grabbed my handbag and jacket and headed out the door.

Conor's POV
I was leaning against the car when Ashley walked out and closed the front door real careful. How cute is she, not wanting to wake her parents up.

"Morning sweetie" she said and pecked me on the cheek before stepping in the car.

"Good morning babe. Ready for a fun day?" I asked when we were in the car.

"Absolutely, this is gonna be so much fun! Let's gooo!" She replied excitedly.

So this is kind of a filler-chapter, but I thought I could try the text messages thing (which is pretty cute in my opinion 😍) and just more Cashley moments. 😊
