I felt someone shake me. I slowly opened my eyes to see the room spinning - and having this killer headache isn't helping either.

I looked up to see Simon sighing in relief. "Thank, god. Thought those vamps killed you."

I sat up and grabbed my head. "What happened? Where are we?"

"To make things short some very unfriendly people came and kidnapped us in exchange for the Cup. But I know Clary doesn't have it. What's so special about this Cup anyway?"

"It has the ability to create new Shadowhunters and control demons. No one wants Valentine to have it. And they think Clary has it for some odd reason."

He let out a nervous chuckle. "Do you - Do you have any idea how to get out of here?"

I checked my wrist for my bracelet that contained my stars. Then checked my pocket for my stele and cursed under my breath when I couldn't find either of them. "They must have taken it when I was knocked out."

"Great." He went to the door and started pounding on it. "Hello? Anyone?" I took a look around the room and spotted the big coffin in the middle. Vampires. "I'm just an accounting student. I have no value to anyone. And we - we barley saw your faces so if you let us go, we couldn't even identify you. Not that I would 'cause you are vampires! Who would believe me? I didn't even know you guys existed till yesterday!"

I got up from my spot. "Simon, get away from the door and stand behind me."

He gave me a hopeful look. "You know a way out?"

"No. But I think I know who took us." He moved out of the way and I immediately went to the door. I stared pounding on it. "Rapha, get your ass down here and let us out!"

On cue said vampire popped out on the other side of the door. Simon got scared and pulled me back when Raphael opened the door and stalked towards us.

"If your goal was to scare the crap out of me, mission accomplished! And as far as I'm concern, you could have it out with those Shadowhunters. Especially the blonde one," Simon stuttered. He corrected himself after the glare I sent him. "The male one. You don't need us."

"Shut up, Simon," I hissed.

"On the contrary, I do," Rapha said before knocking Simon out.

He turned and stalked towards me, "Sam."

"Rapha." We broke our little stare down before we laughed and embraced each other. "It's been long." Then I punched his arm. "And that's for knocking me out, you ass."

"Under Camille's orders."

"You guys know you broke the Accords by kidnapping a mundane and me. Why am I here anyway?"

Rapha pointed at Simon. "Mundane's important to the girl and you're important to those Shadowhunters. Wouldn't want them attacking us if we got the people they care about."

"So, you're just going to keep us here until Clary gives you the Cup. News flash; she doesn't have it."

"She's lying. We know she has it."

"She doesn't have it. And now I need to protect her friend from you guys!"

He chuckled. "And how are you going to do that without your little blade or throwing stars?"

"I'll find a way. You know I will."

"Then I'm sorry about this."

I gave him a confused look before he bared his fangs at me and knocked me out...again.

I woke up again to find myself in a different room. Damn it, Raphael!

I got up and made my way to the door. I jiggled the handle to only find it locked. Thought I give it a try. And there's no keyhole, so picking the lock is out of the question. I took a few steps back before running to the door. I slammed my side and the door wouldn't budge. I grabbed the chair and threw it. It hits the door and smashed into a million pieces.
