Dad slowly got up from the locker and walked towards Jace and me.
"Dad." Jace and I whispered.
He let out a shaky breath, "Kids." I couldn't stop the tears from falling as he embraced us. My dad's alive after all these years. I held on tighter just to be sure I wasn't dreaming and he'll slip away. "Jace. Samantha. I can't believe it."
"You're here." I mumbled.
"I am, Samantha." Jace let out a hiss as we pulled apart. "Son, you're hurt. How did you find me?"
"You're dead. Valentine killed you. Valentine's...Valentine's here." Jace said.
"No. It's me." Dad noticed Clary in the room. "I'm Michael Wayland. I'm the twins father. Look, I know what they told you, but I've been here for ten years. Valentine took off and left me."
"And Jocelyn Fairchild?" Clary asked.
"He took her with him. You are?"
"I'm Clary, her daughter. Meliorn, the Seelie, told me he was here with her."
Jace began falling, but Dad and I caught him. I looked at him with wide eyes as he began grunting. I looked at Dad, "It's Ravener venom. He keeps saying that he's alright."
"We have to find Valentine, not Dad." Jace panted. He started breathing heavily. "Valentine..."
Dad began patting Jace down, "His stele. Where is it?" He found something in Jace's coat pocket and pulled out the Cup tarot card.
Clary took the card from his hand, "Back pocket. Back pocket." I got a good grip on Jace while Dad took the stele out of Jace's pocket. He began tracing the healing rune, but it wouldn't work. "What's wrong?" She asked.
"The rune is weak." He said.
I gave Jace a worried look, "The Ravener venom must be spreading."
"We have to get him help. We...we closed the Portal." Clary added.
Dad helped me lift Jace up, "Valentine's got a standing Portal. Let's go." Clary and I nodded as we began walking. "Hey, Jace, stay with me. Hey. Do you remember our first demon fight?"
"We were up Kinshasa, we were only eight." I recalled.
My dad nodded, "And do you remember what Jace said?"
"I'm ready to die." Jace and I said together. Jace more like panted.
"That's right. And do you remember what your sister said?"
Jace looked at me, "I'm ready to die with you."
"Then I said sometimes it's as brave to live as it is to die. Do you remember?"
"I do." Jace breathed heavily. "It's true. It's you."
Dad pulled us in for a hug as Jace started to cry. Tears were streaming down my cheeks as I held on to Jace tighter. "Let's go." Dad said.

We went through the Portal and it took us to Jade Wolf. I am so happy to see this place. Dad and I carried Jace inside while Clary yelled, "We need help!"
Simon and Luke ran up to us. "Clary, what happened?" Simon asked.
"We thought we found Valentine, but he was already gone."
My dad and I slid in the booth so Jace could rest. "Jace got stung by a Ravener. The venom's spreading. He's getting worst." I said.
"Michael Wayland?" Luke asked.
