Chapter 54...Take Care of Jade

Jade POV

"I bet she's taking you to the beach!" A smiling Calum guessed as he put down his acoustic bass guitar and sat down next to me on the sofa.
"The beach?" I questioned.
"Yeah, why not?" Calum asked as he wiggled his eyebrows.
"She told me to bring my parka!" I reminded him as I laughed a bit.
"Oh, yeah I forgot that part." He said.

"To be honest, I have no idea where she's taking me." I answered truthfully.
"Well it wouldn't be a surprise if you knew!" Calum answered laughing.
"Yeah yeah you're right!" I chuckled.

"You know what Jade, I hope Perrie's the right one for you." He suddenly said sounding so serious making me grin at the thought.
"No Jade seriously!" He exclaimed as he shifted his body to face me.
"Well, I do hope too..." I answered whispery.
"It's just that, I've never seen you so happy before. I mean, only Perrie does that! She makes you happy Jade." He answered.

A couple of minutes later a car pulled up in front of our house.
"I think it's Perrie!" Calum said as he stood up and looked out the window making my heartbeat faster than usual.
"Oh Gosh, it really is her!" I confirmed as I saw a glimpse of blonde hair coming out of the car.
"Well what can I say! Goodluck Jadey!" Calum said as he opened his arms for me to hug which I did all too happily.
"Thanks!" I mumbled.

"Well that means, I should get going. Your date's here!" Calum said while picking up his guitar.
"Thanks for stopping by Cal!" I said smiling.
"Nah! It's fine, you're my bestfriend Jadey poo!" He replied.
"You're my bestfriend too Cal!"

Perrie POV

"Okay just relax Perrie! You can do this!" I told myself as my sweaty hands gripped the steering wheel.
This is it! I'm taking Jade out tonight and I have to say I've never felt so happy and nervous in my life...

After a few minutes of driving, I turned to the left and headed off to Jade's street.
"Oh man!" I mumbled as the image of Jade's house finally came into view.
"Relax! You'll be fine!" I once again told myself.
I turned off the engine, and took a quick glance at the mirror before carefully straightening my shirt just a bit to loosen myself with all the nervousness that I'm feeling.

I opened the car and slowly took short steps until I reached the front door. I rang the bell twice. Suddenly I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket so I took it out, It was a text from Jesy.

Jesy: Leigh and I wishes you goodluck Pez! Have fun but...not too much! Make sure to put up the tent, we don't want you and Jade getting soaked in case it rains...😜

I rolled my eyes at what she texted while unconsciously mumbling a "thanks but Fuck you!"as I slid my phone in my back pocket without noticing someone already opened the door.
"Did I open it too late?" I heard a guy's voice causing me to snap me out of my thoughts.
Oh God! I haven't realized somebody had already opened the door for me and it was Calum!
"Oh no, not at all, just in time!" I said while shaking my head.

"Well I heard you curse at me." Calum said while cocking an eyebrow as he leaned on the door frame with his arms crossed.
My eyes widened at what he said, realizing what I just did.
"Shit! No!" I nervously stated.
"I didn't...I mean, it wasn't yours...it's just..my, my friend Jesy..she texted something..stupid...sorry!" I went on nervously, making him nod.

"Haha! Gotcha!" Calum yelled suddenly, flashing a huge smile on his face. It made me stumble a bit but finally relieved to find out he was just joking.
"I was just kidding!" He said while gesturing me to come in, so I did.
"So..uh..where's Jade?" I asked as I looked around the living room after Calum closed the door.

"Oh! She hasn't told you?" Calum asked.
I frowned with what he said.
"Tell me what?" I replied with eyebrows knitted.
"Well actually Jade's not here...she went out shopping with uhm..her mom." Calum said while grabbing his guitar.
"What!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah! They left me to uhh...babysit Barry." Calum explained while scratching the back of his neck.
"Who's Barry?" I questioned.
"You know Barry, Jade's beetle!" Calum said while suppressing a laugh.

"Shut up you! Are you messing with me again Mr. Hood?!" I asked while crossing my arms.
"Maybe!" He asnwered while tilting his head.
"Oh okay! Then I should find her myself!" I replied playfully.
"Chill Perrie! Of course she's here!" Calum replied.
"Hey!" I heard a cute geordie accent making my heart flip at the sound.

There stood Jade, looking beautiful as ever.
"Hi Jade!" I replied with a big smile on my face as I went to give her a kiss on the cheek making her blush.
Suddenly Calum cleared his throat.
"PDA...PDA.." he said, making us roll our eyes at him.
Suddenly Jade's mom came walking out the kitchen and into the living room.
"Oh shush it Calum, it's just a kiss!" Jade's mom chimed in.
"Hi Norma!" I greeted her with a smile and a quick hug.
"Hello Perrie! It's great to see you!" She said.
"Oh it's great to see you too!" I replied.

After about a couple of minutes we finally decided to head out.
"Hey Perrie" I heard Calum call me after saying goodbye to Jade's mom.
"Yeah Cal?" I asked looking at him while Jade was still hugging her mom.
"Take Care of Jade Okay?" He said.
I nodded at him and smiled.
"Of course I will." I confirmed.
