Chapter 75...Are you in love with a Nerd?

Perrie POV

Did I hear that right? Am I really being called?
I questioned myself. Then all of a sudden we were on the spotlight.

"Seems like the prom queen wants to dance with you." Jade spoke.
"What?!" I asked out of nowhere, I was so spaced out. Then everybody was clapping and cheering.
Jade laughed and shrugged a bit.
"Just go to the dance floor Perrie. Bye!" And with that Jade started to walk away.
"W-wait! Jade!" I called but then I felt a hand on my back. It was Jesy.

"She wants you on the dance floor!" Jesy half yelled.
"Who?" I asked.
Then Leigh went rushing towards us.
"What's going on?" I asked again.
"Weren't you listening?" Leigh questioned.
"I was talking to Jade." I admitted.
"Well I'll make it short." Jesy started as she cleared her throat.
"Ally's prom queen, Liam's prom king but then Ally doesn't want to dance with him she wants you, now you're being called. End of story!"

I was out of words.
"Is that even acceptable?" I questioned as I scoffed, there is no way I'm dancing with her!
"She said she wants to ditch tradition, oh and she even quoted "Hello! It's 2017! Time to make changes people, let's not stick to those old boring rules!". Leigh told while making quotation marks in the air.
"Well to be honest that girl's got a point." Jesy replied.
"Yeah, I kinda liked it when she said that too." Leigh nodded.
"Guys?! Are you being serious?" I asked.
"Well, except the Perrie Louise Edwards thingy." Jesy continued.
"Yeah, you're right." Leigh stated.
"Hellooo?" I said trying to get their attention.
"Whatever just go deal with her Pez!" Jesy said slightly pushing me forwards.
"She's insane!" I mumbled.
"We know, now you go deal with her first." Leigh spoke after she gave me a pat on my back.
"Good luck Pez!" They said in unison.

Jade POV

"Shit!" I cursed mentally after I slightly tripped down the stairs as I made my way out the venue. Though I gotta admit my feet hurts so bad right now.
"Jade!" I heard a guy calling me.
"Oh uhmm..Cal." I spoke while forcing a smile on my face.
"Where are you going?" He asked still catching his breath.
"Just needed some air." I replied as I sat on the stairs. Then he did the same.
"Hey, where's Jenna? Don't tell me you left her all alone?" I questioned with my eyebrows knitted.
"No worries, she's with Charlie, just came to check on you." Calum replied while laughing a bit.
"Cal you don't have to you know!" I said smiling.

"Is it Perrie?" He asked all of a sudden.
I simply nodded.
"What did she say?" He questioned.
I took a deep breath before answering.
"She said...well..she said she was sorry  and that..that she still loves me." I spoke softly and then it was silent for a moment.

"So..what did you tell her?" Calum asked.
I shook my head.
"You didn't tell her anything then." Calum responded.
"Well, not exactly, I just told her I wasn't ready yet. I really don't know Cal, I just...don't know what I'm doing." I replied while trying to hold back the tears in my eyes.
"Hey, that's alright Jadey." Calum responded as he moved closer and started rubbing my back.
"I- I just don't know if I could still trust her you know." I replied softly.
"That's okay, you don't have to force yourself. Perrie did something wrong and you need time to heal yourself for what she's done, and I think Perrie needs to understand that." Calum responded, and I knew he was right.

"Is everything alright?"
A male voice asked out of nowhere and both me and Calum turned our heads to see Charlie standing behind us.
"Jade are you alright?" Charlie spoke once more with a worried look.
I forced a smile on my face and Calum immediately got the message that I was feeling okay now.
"I think I should go check on Jenna." Cal said as he stood up.
"Yeah I think you should, thanks Cal." I replied before he left leaving me with Charlie.

"Everything's fine Charlie. I just needed some fresh air. And uhmm, my feet hurts a bit, I kinda tripped down the stairs earlier." I answered while looking at my feet awkwardly.
"Really?" He answered quite shocked and went rushing right in front of me.
"Hey, it's no big deal, it doesn't hurt that much... I guess." I replied while looking at Charlie who knelt down and examined my feet, which is kinda embarassing right now.
"Do you mind if I take a look?" He questioned.
"Uhh. I don't think it's that bad really." I responded.
"You sure, you might have sprained your ankle or something." He said.
But still I was unsure about it.
"Come on trust me. I know something about this kind of stuff." He insisted.
"Oh..okay?" I responded then he proceeded taking off my shoes.
