Chapter 68...Not Even Perrie

Jade POV

"I think you should go to Prom Jade." Calum spoke as he sat with me at the front porch.
"Cal, we've been through this since yesterday, for the hundreth time... I AM NOT GOING!" I replied shrugging. I felt better today, now that I had come to accept the fact that Perrie Edwards is not and probably never will be in love with me.
"Okay, okay I'm just saying." Calum waved his hands in surrender, then he asked again.
"Then what about the dress?"
I took a deep breath.
"I don't know, I felt sorry for my mom. She was so excited and well, I was too...before." I replied suddenly taking interest at the wooden floor.
"Well, then I think you should go!" Calum said again.
"Cal!" I exclaimed.
"Look Jade, if Perrie lied to you and cheated on you...then you gotta step up. Show her what she lost!" Calum explained.
"What? No! I -I can't!" I said.
"Look don't feel so sorry for yourself, You're a wonderful girl Jade, you're smart, kind, beautiful and strong. You just have to believe in yourself, don't let others bring you down, do you know what I'm saying."
He said and he was right.
"Yeah, you're right, I won't let others bring me down. " I repeated his words.
"Not even that bitch called Ally." I went on.
"That's what I'm saying!" Calum cheered and I let a smile creep into my face.
"And Perrie?" Calum asked.
"Yeah.. not even her, not even PERRIE!" I said.

Perrie POV

"Why not?" Jesy's voice rang loudly in my ears once she stepped into my room after I texted her and Leigh about me not going to prom.
"Isn't it obvious Jes, I lost my date. Jade broke up with me!" I retorted.
"Then what? You're just gonna sit here and feel sorry for yourself?" She asked with hands on her waist, like a mother scolding her child for being stubborn.
"Maybe." I replied not caring that her eyes are glaring straight at me.
"No Edwards! you are going with us. Leigh already told me that her dad rented us a limo." Jesy replied taking my dress out of the box and gasped at the piece of fabric.
"Look at this!" Jesy said motioning me to look at the dress in her hands.
"What?" I asked without any interest.
"You are gonna look perfect in this!" She squeled like a child making me roll my eyes.
"I'm making sure this is not going to waste!" She went on.
"Who cares?" I mocked.
"We do, now move your ass and take a shower because if you don't flies are gonna migrate into your room any minute." Jesy stated throwing some towel at me.
"She's gonna be there." I spoke.
"That's the point! you both had enough of your crying, now get up and win her heart back!" Jesy said while looking at herself in the mirror.
"I-I don't know how." I mumbled.
"I know you do, and yes you will win her heart back Pez!" Jesy said while turning to look at me.
"Bu-" then I was cut off.
"No Buts! Just do it." She replied then I got off the bed and went straight to shower.

Jade POV

"Oh dear! Look at you! You look beautiful!" Mom squeled in delight after she saw me coming out of my room. I have to admit though I look gorgeous, even I couldn't believe what I just saw earlier in the mirror.
"Oh my, I can't believe my baby's all grown up!" Mom said with teary eyes.
"Mom please, don't start." I said smiling at her.
"Oh sorry, you know me, I'm just so proud of you, we're gonna get through this okay?" She spoke.
"Yeah mom, I love you!" I said while giving her  a bone crushing hug.
"I love you too dear, oh and don't cry, we don't wanna mess with your pretty face." She said as I laughed while trying to hold a bit of happy tears from spilling out of my eyes.

A few minutes later a car honked in front of the house and I saw Calum entering the front door with a beautiful lady beside him.
"Wow! Look at you, you look gorgeous!" He exclaimed while giving me a hug as well.
"Thanks, oh and you look..handsome!" I stated.
"And dashing!" He added making us both smile.
"Oh I want you to meet my date, the beautiful, Jenna. This is Norma and my bestfriend Jadey." He said while giving each other hugs and greetings.

"So shall we go now?" Calum asked after we got everything set.
"Oh you guys can go now I'll just-" I spoke but he cut me off.
"Nope Jadey, I'm taking you both to Prom tonight!" He said clearly and I was shocked.
"What? No, I don't want to ruin you and Jenna's-" suddenly I heard Jenna spoke.
"It's Fine Jade, Calum told me everything, and it's alright with me." She said smiling.
"What? A-are you serious?" I asked with mouth hanging.
"Yes, we're dead serious!" Calum replied but mom interrupted.
"Okay, now let's take pictures!" She said.
