Jade POV

Perrie closes her eyes and then slowly leans in. "She's going to kiss me." I mentally told myself , but then this happens...

Mic feedback...

"NO!" A female voice yelled over the microphone causing Perrie to stop. It was so loud it made everybody's ears hurt and the music stopped playing as well.

Suddenly everyone's eyes were on the stage, and guess who it was? It was Ally.
It was silent for a moment, like everybody else was wondering why she did that.

"Wow! Quite a party we got here, isn't that right guys?" Ally awkwardly spoke but nobody in the crowd responded.
"Whoo!" She cheered once again, and that's when the crowd started to boo her.

I'm sure that girl is up to something, I told myself, so I decided to leave the dance floor until I felt a hand grabbed mine.
"Where are you going?" Perrie asked.
"I-I'm going to see my friends." I responded.

Then there was another mic feedback and the whole crowd groaned and some even covered their ears.
Then in a moment, the school principal, Mrs. Williams was on the stage as well.

"What are you doing Ms. Brooke?" We heard Mrs. Williams ask as her eyes glared at Ally.
"Oh nothing! I just thought that maybe it's time to announce this year's Prom King and Queen! I mean we've been dancing for hours now. What do you guys think?" Ally replied, and that's when the crowd cheered. Making Ally's confidence come back to life.

Perrie POV

"Ugghh!" I groaned mentally. I was so close to kissing Jade but then that bitch interrupted.
I mean seriously, what on earth is she up to right now?

I grabbed Jade's hand the minute I felt her walking away.
"I-I'm going to see my friends." She responded after I asked her.
"Jade please, I just want to talk to you!" I replied not having any plans of letting her go this time.

"Perrie, m-maybe some other time." She spoke softly even though the crowd cheered wildly when Mrs. Williams decided that it really was time to announce  tonight's Prom King and Queen, but I still heard her though.

Although my grip on her hand was so tight, she still managed to slip away so I followed her instead.
"Why not now Jade?!" I asked as we both make our way to the crowd.
"Perrie, can you please, just...look just go back to your friends." She said as she continued walking.
"They don't need me there! Plus, I dont have a date so what's the point?" I asked.
"Exactly, I have one. So I need to go back to him." Jade spoke as she stopped walking and faced me.

I laughed at what she said, well more like a jealous laugh to be honest.
"Pffftt..A date? Oh you mean that Mr. Perv Charlie guy?" I told her as I crossed my arms.
Jade arched an eyebrow.
"He's still my date for tonight  Perrie that's for sure."

"Oh come on! Did you really forget about me that easily?" I asked once she turned her back once more.
"Don't start Perrie." She said, but then this time I caught up with her then blocked her way.
"Tell me Jade, Did everything that happened between us meant anything to you? At all?" I asked but then she pushed me aside and continued walking once more.

"What? Tell me? Because it meant everything to me!" I said while I continued following her but still not getting any response.
"And I'm still not over it! I'm still not over you Jade!" I yelled the last sentence causing her to stop walking.
"Even though it feels like you're already trying to move on from me, and it kills me." I went on softly, feeling the tears building up in my eyes.

I took a few steps and stood right in front of her.
I noticed that a tear had already trickled down her face but she quickly wiped it away with the back of her hand.
"What else should I do Jade just so you'll forgive me and give me another chance?" I asked as I walked closer to her.
"Do you want me to tell everybody what a stupid girl I was? Or do you want me to go right on that stage and do something embarrasing  just so you could get revenge on me? What? Tell me? Just not like this Jade, you know I'd do anything for you to accept me again. But I just can't go on like this. You avoiding me, you not wanting to talk to me, you dancing around with some guy, you not wanting to be with me."
I took a deep breath then went on.
"That's the hardest thing."

Suddenly, silence fell between us.
"I don't know Perrie." Jade mumbled to herself.
"I know you do Jade, please just tell me." I pleaded.
Just as Jade was about to say something, I heard my name being announced.

"PERRIE LOUISE EDWARDS!"
"Wait, what?!"
