Perrie POV

Jesy kept talking the entire time she was doing my makeup, she must be really excited. But to me, everything she was saying just went right through my ears without my brain processing. I couldn't concentrate well and I questioned myself, why on earth am I so affected?

Earlier that day...

I drove to the camping site an hour before Jesy told me what time she'll get me ready for the date. As much as I wanted to get this dinner job done for our first customer, Jesy insisted that she could do it on her own and that I needed to get back on my feet again.

Although I got instructions from my bestfriend, I'm still the boss here and there's nothing wrong if I do a little checking. After all, Jesy mentioned that we already received a full payment for this one and was already transferred to the business' bank account, so I just want to make sure that our service will be at its best.

I parked my car and got out then went straight to the treehouse restaurant. As soon as I laid eyes on how the arrangement  went, a sudden surge of memories flashed once more. The first thing I noticed was the flowers, there's dozens of them. Some were placed on the table. A few rose petals were scattered everywhere but most of it were tulips, just like the ones I used to bring Jade during high school.

As much I want to avoid remembering her name, certain situations like this just wouldn't allow me to, but then I shrugged it off.
"Can I see what's on the menu please?" I asked the staff as I tried to compose myself.
Then another thing hit me. Whoever our first customer was, sure knows how to bring memories back.
"Lasagna for main course and raspberry ice cream for dessert?!" I freaked out mentally. What on earth is going on? I swallowed hard after that, I couldn't think straight. All these things remind me of her, Jade. I know this shouldn't affect me, it could just be coincidence or maybe a sign that I should forget her. Then suddenly the lights dimmed and candles were lit, bringing out the romantic atmosphere. I walked closer to the windows and then another thing flashed, of course, how could I forget, the view. The very same place where I took Jade and its the same chilly night air when I made love to her.

I knew I made this restaurant this way because this place is special to me, and by then I was hoping that she'll be back. But no, she's clearly out of the picture now and maybe this a huge mistake. How am I going to forget her if everytime I come here, my heart will break. Am I unconsciously punishing myself?

"Ma'am are you alright?" A voice asked and it broke me out of my trance. I didn't notice that a few tears had already spilled out of my eyes.
"Oh..uh..yeah of course, the place is beautiful. You did a great job." I said doing my hardest to put up a smile while carefully wiping away the tears. She nodded after that.

Then my phone rang, it was Jesy.
"Where are you?" Jesy asked on the line.
"I'm at the campsite, I'm actually leaving now." I replied, I almost forgot about the date to be honest.
"I told you Pez to leave everything to me! Now get your ass in here now, I don't want you looking like a zombie on your date." she said.
"Okay, I'm just checkin." I replied then drove back to the shop.

Jade POV

I was disappointed when I heard what Jesy told me.
"Why? What happened?" was all I could manage.
"I don't know what's wrong with her lately, she just wasn't talking and then she was gone, like I don't know where she went. Then she texted me that she couldn't do it and that I should tell Amy sorry for not telling sooner, and now she turned her phone off. I called the staff and they told me Perrie's not at the restaurant." Jesy huffed out.
I got worried after hearing that.
I sat on the chair and stared blankly at the floor while Jesy tried desperately to contact Perrie.
Then I stood up. "I think I know where she is." I spoke then Jesy put down her phone.
"I think she's at the camp site." I said.
"Jade, I already called the staff they told me she wasn't there." she responded.
"I'd like to see it for myself, I just have this weird feeling." I reasoned out as I reached for my keys and headed straight to the door as quickly as I could.
"Jade I'm coming with you!" Jesy yelled.

I drove my car as fast as I could and all throughout the ride Jesy kept complaining about the speed.
Then we reached the place in no time. There were several cars parked outside once we came to a stop.
"What a liar! That one's Perrie's." Jesy said and pointed out one of the cars. I was right. She's here.

I hurriedly went out and ran towards the car just to see if maybe she locked herself, but she wasn't there.
Then I entered the gates with Jesy trailing behind me. I ran straight to the treehouse restaurant and as soon as I got there, the whole place brought back feelings and emotions that I've kept for the last eight years. I froze on my spot.
"Is she here?, whoah!" Jesy asked the moment she got in.
The place is beautiful, it's exactly how I imagined it to be. The flowers, the candlelights the blue tablecloth just like her eyes. I knew Perrie would love this, it's like everything that we shared together is put in one place. Still, something is missing, Perrie isn't here.

I heard Jesy starting to rant about things, about where her bestfriend could be. Then something caught my attention. I took slow steps towards the window and stared at the view. It still looks as beautiful like it was when she first brought me here. I felt a few of my tears ran down my face, then my breath hitched. I looked down and saw a certain blonde sitting nearly at the edge of the cliff, Perrie.
