Chapter 91...RaspPerries

Jade POV

It's been a year and a half since Perrie and I rekindled our love, then three months after that, she proposed to me. I couldn't describe how I felt that day.I mean, I was over the moon. She's been giving me mixed signals before the proposal. I know a lot of people have said that it was way too early to get married but I just knew that we're meant for each other, so I said yes to her.

I was extremely happy with my decision, but I have to admit that our months before the wedding was one of the hardest. I couldn't forget that day when Perrie attempted to jump off that cliff, I could have lost her forever. I know that  she was going through depression at that time and I would totally blame myself if anything bad happens to her. I convinced Perrie to undergo psychotherapy and a couple of counselling which she understood and obliged. I supported her through all those months and stayed by her side. I kept telling her that we were gonna get through this difficult time together and that I'll always love her no matter what. I want us to be truly happy and keeping her healthy and safe was part of it.

I quit my job in L.A and decided to put up my own veterinary clinic here in South Shields. That way I would be able to be close to Perrie and that we could finally start a life as a family.

We exchanged vows at the church where both of our parents got married. We cried happy tears at the altar on our wedding day. I love her so much and I would never ever wish for anything but to live a life as her wife and have a family with her, be it good or hard times.

Now it's our wedding anniversary and we were both so thankful that her counselling sessions were finally over. I was so proud of her. She was so strong and she never gave up.

Three months ago Perrie and I decided that we wanted to have a baby, so we found a donor and now I'm two months pregnant. Soon we will be welcoming a baby Edwards in the family!

Since today's our first wedding anniversary, Perrie decided we should celebrate it, exclusively just for us.
She wants it to be private so she closed the campsite for a day, of course she's notified the public for weeks already and we both wanted it to be special.

Now we were both sat on a blanket wearing Parkas while keeping ourselves warm by the fire. Perrie sitting behind me, arms wrapped around my body and hands gently rubbing my belly.

"I couldn't wait for this little nugget to come out." Perrie said as she gently kissed my shoulder.
I smiled at what she said then I shoved a couple pieces of raspberries into my mouth. I have to admit, I've been craving for it since the last few days.
"Hey, is that your second bowl already?" Perrie asked as she peered over my shoulder and took a glance at the bowl of fresh berries in my hands.
"Hmm..Yes babe" I giggled sheepishly while turning over to peck her cheeks.
"Well that's good, I wouldn't want this little Edwards to go hungry." She replied after I stuffed some into her mouth as well.
"Just baby Edwards huh?" I said jokingly.
Perrie laughed and pinched my nose.
"Is mama Edwards jelly? Of course you as well." She replied.
I just laughed at what she said. Then we went on talking about anything and everything else.

"I'm gaining some weight now." I said after I placed the empty bowl on the mini table next to us and took a sip of Perrie's hot chocolate.
"Well I don't mind you getting cuter...and cuddlier." She said and I poked her nose.

"So I ate all the raspberries already, and now I want my...hmm..raspPerries!" I spoke as I turned around and tackled her in a hug making her land on her back with a soft thud.

"Ouch, Jade! You want your what?" Perrie questioned giggling as she lifted her head a bit as I climb on top of her.
"My raspPerries." I replied smiling.
"Oh, raspPerries? Never heard of that." She responded.
I shook my head in response.
"Well in that case, can you at least show me what raspPerries are?" She asked.
So I smiled at her then leaned in and gave her a long and loving kiss.

"Happy Anniversary my dear raspPerrie." I said as we both smiled lovingly at each other.
"And happy anniversary too Mrs. Nerdy Edwards." She replied and I couldn't help but feel so giggly whenever she addresses me that.
"It still feels so new whenever you call me Mrs. Edwards Pez." I admitted.
"Nah! You'll get used to it, but since you said that, I might as well call you Mrs. Edwards more often." She said while tucking a few strands of my hair behind my ear.
"Well I wouldn't mind you calling me that." I replied and she gave my lips another raspPerrie.
"Oh and one more, I'd be happy to give you and our nugget raspPerries love." She said before kissing me.
"I'd be happy to receive, I love you Pez!" I said in between kisses.
"And I love you forever my Jadey."
