Charlotte—
"Baby," I whined, "Your hands are cold."
I had been laying in my room, working on the pictures I had taken while in Florida, and a few in Arizona. I was just lounging in my room with a tank top and shorts.
Joey laughed, "Nah. You're just really warm."
Being his weird self, he slid his hands up my back. I shivered as pressed a few kisses to my shoulders.
"No. I'm freezing." I pouted, "You're so lucky I love you, Joseph."
"I love you too, Char-baby." He stated, a smirk evident in his voice.
I nearly gasped as he rolled on top of me. Joey had been working out more, and he was now so much stronger than I was.
"Joey," I whimpered, "Get off. You're heavy, and I'm fragile."
"Nah." He laughed, "I think this is a good place to take a nap."
I sighed, "I think you need to get outside."
"If you get dressed, I'm sure I could find an adventure for us." He stated.
"Fine. Let me save this." I sighed.
"I have to run to my apartment. Okay? Wear a swimsuit under. I love you." He responded, getting off me.
I grabbed his wrist, stopping him. I smiled, "Hey, I love you too. Do I get a kiss?"
He smirked, pressing his lips to mine. "I'll be back in twenty."

I squealed, hugging Joey's torso tighter as he sped up on his motorcycle. He knew it frightened me, but of course I trusted him. I didn't trust other drivers.
"Calm down, princess. It's okay." Joey shouted over the wind.
"I trust you." I yelled back.
I felt his body vibrate as he laughed. It just sucked that I couldn't hear him, I loved his laugh.
Joey began to slow down a bit as the road became narrow and trees began to surround us. I knew exactly where he was taking me. It was the lake where the guys shot their "Roar" video. It was favorite among us.
Carefully, Joey glided into the parking lot, all surrounded by the forest. Finally, he slowed to stop, parking his bike.
I laughed as he took off his black helmet, shaking his head. He turned around and smirked, carefully taking off mine.
He grinned, "There's my beautiful girl."
I rolled my eyes, kissing his cheek. "I love you," I giggled.
"I love you more." He smiled.
After a few minutes of just sitting there, talking, then finally securing our stuff, we walked off into the woods.
The woods was definitely one of my favorite places. It was simply beautiful every where. Everything that lived here, belonged and had a role in surviving together. Much like our world today, even if people didn't admit it. We needed each other.
Our walk to the edge of the cliff didn't take too long. Joey stood there, my hand in his, looking out onto the lake.
"Wow. It's always so beautiful out here." I muttered.
"You ready to jump in?" He asked.
He wiggled his eyebrows before slipping off his tank top. I stared at him, wide-eyed.
"Are you crazy? You're also just gonna leave your shirt up here." I scoffed.
He shrugged, "Why not? We'll come back for it."
I sighed, "You're crazy, Joey." I replied, taking my shirt off. Luckily, I did as he said and wore a swim suit under.
Minutes, later I stood on the cliff and looked down to the drop. Joey took my hand and gave me a reassuring smile.
I took a deep breath as Joey started to walk backwards. Once we were a few feet away from the edge, he began to jog back to the edge. We jumped as out feet hit the edge of the rock.
I squeezed my eyes shut as I fell. I could feel the air as I hurdled towards the bottom, feeling the wind in my hair.
Soon enough, Joey and I were submerged in the water. After a second of shock, I swam my way to the top.
Joey was just there, waiting on me. He smiled, "Now. Wasn't that fun?"
"I think you're mentally insane, Joseph." I remarked.
He grabbed my wrist, pulling me closer then gripping my waist. He laughed, then quickly kissed me.
"You love me," he whispered.

It was nearing dark as Joey and I sat at some bar & grill in Nashville. It wasn't unusual for us to things like this.
Joey laughed as he scrolled through his phone, and stealing my fries.
"What's so funny?" I asked.
"I'm just reading stuff the fans are saying. It's nothing bad, princess." Joey answered.
"Baby, I trust you." I smiled, "Don't worry about it."
He grinned, "One of the many reasons I love you."
I picked up a fry and threw at Joey. I laughed, "I love you too,"
I watched as he sat his phone face down. He smiled at me, "I'm so excited for our future, angel. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us."
"Me too, babe." I agreed.
He stood up, coming around our table. He gave me a brief, sweet kiss.
"I'll be right back. If I get a text from Sophia, feel free to answer. I don't care what you tell her." He whispered.
"Okay. I love you." I laughed.
"I love you more, angel." He grinned, kissing my cheek.
He turned around and disappeared into the back of the restaurant. Sure enough, he got a text from Sophia.
Sophia:
I swear, if you told her, I'm gonna be so angry. I haven't told Brayden yet. What if we did this like as a double date? Would you trust me then?Joey:
This is his girlfriend. If Joey doesn't want to do something, please don't make him. I'm not gonna be some rude girl. Just please, if he asks, leave him alone. He's different than what he was in high school.Sophia:
🙄🙄🙄 M'kay. Whatever...I scoffed, putting his phone day. She obviously didn't like me. I couldn't really care. It's not like I can please everyone.
I looked up as Joey sat down. "She texted again." I stated.
He groaned, "What she'd say this time?"
"She's mad that I know. And she wants go out as like a group or whatever. I just asked her to leave you alone if you ask her too." I answered.
"Don't worry about her. She'll get over it eventually."
