Charlotte—

I sat my glass down on the end table as my phone flashed. I picked it up, and swiped the notification from snapchat.

I looked at Joey with an eyebrow raised.

"What'd you take of me?" I whined. Joey was notorious for taking pictures of me without me knowing. He posted a lot of them on his snapchat or Instagram.

He grinned, "Just a lovely picture of my beautiful fiancée who I love with all my heart."

I rolled my eyes, opening the snap. A ten-second long picture of me; admiring Joey through the wine glass.

"You're lucky I love you." I sighed.

He winked, "I love you too."

"Are you going to eat those?" I asked, pointing to his plate that had the insides of the pizza rolls he ate.

Joey just glared at me, "I can't eat cheese. You know that."

"Oh. I thought you going to feed them to the dog." I stated sarcastically.

He grinned, "We are getting a puppy when we get married."

I laughed, and stood up. I walked to the other couch. I bent down, pressing a chaste kiss to his lips and grabbed his plate.

"I am completely okay with that, babe."

Joey and I sat at our place. This place made me so unbelievably happy now. At first it was just an escape from high school when I started photography. Then it became a place to be alone and have time with God.

Now, it was the place where I once met my forever love four years ago. Little did I know it then, but Joey was the one all along. Then he proposed. This spot held so much meaning to me.

It kept my secrets, my smiles, my tears, and my prayers.

I shivered as a breeze came through. I tugged on the sleeves of Joey's Ohio hoodie and snuggled closer to him.

"This is spot is beautiful, but not as beautiful as you." Joey flirted.

I laughed, shaking my head.

"This my absolute favorite spot, and it's even better with you here." I admitted, playing with Joey's fingers.

"What's on your mind, Char-baby?" He asked.

"I kinda want a tattoo." I answered.

"So get one. Life's too short."

"Will you get one with me?" I questioned.

"Sure," he nodded.

"Really?" I was shocked that he agreed. I looked at him in confusion with an eyebrow raised.

He laughed, "Yeah. Why not? It could be fun."

"I love you," I whispered, laying my head on his shoulder and locking our fingers. He pressed a kiss to my forehead, then laid his head on top of mine.

"I love you too, angel."

"I can't wait for life with you. Living together and doing random things at two in the morning. I'm so glad that you're in my life, Joey. You make everything bearable and fun."

"Charlotte, ever since I met you, I've seen the world differently. I see all the little things now, I see the beauty in everything. And I honestly believe it's because of you. You're my gorgeous girl, in this beautiful world."

I sat on the end of Joey's bed, listening to him play his guitar. He wasn't even paying attention to the world around him. He was lost in the music.

"So, baby. Why don't we just dance?" Joey mumbled, strumming.

I smiled, admiring his voice and his features in the dim lighting. There were so many things I loved about him.

I looked back down to the notebook in my lap. I was being lame and designing my tattoo. It had said, "God Gave Me You" with two hearts underneath. One had the abbreviation for Ohio, and the other for Tennessee.

"What's that, angel?" Joey asked, peeking at the paper. "Is it our tattoo?"

"Ours?" I questioned, giggling, "Who said we were getting matching tattoos?"

He shrugged, "I dunno. I just assumed since you asked me to get one with you."

"Baby, if you want it too, then we can get the same one." I smiled, "It's okay."

Joey strummed a few chords on his guitar. He looked back up to me, and grinned. "Any requests?"

I smirked at him. He already knew my answer. I nodded, "Yeah. Coming Home."

He laughed and nodded. He started with the few first notes.

I always loved this song acoustic, but the band hadn't published an acoustic version. And Joey's raw, unedited voice was amazing.

"I breathe out, then exhale. What was left of my pride? Full of myself, I have failed. What have I done with my life?"

I bit my lip and smiled. I wasn't even paying attention to the lyrics or music. My attention was on his face, mainly because he was so into it. I loved that about him, he was so passionate about music.

I couldn't take it anymore.

I dropped the notebook on the bed, and crawled over to Joey without him noticing. He looked up as I cupped his face, kissing him softly.

His music stopped as his hand went to my waist. I pulled back, resting my forehead against his.

"I love you," I whispered.

"What was that for?" He mumbled.

I laughed, "I just needed to kiss you."

He smirked, and carefully set his guitar on the floor. He gently pushed me onto my back as he climbed above.

"I love you too," he smiled.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, and pulled him down slightly. I pressed my lips to his.

"I can't help it." I giggled, "You're just so kissable."

He just laughed and rolled over, collapsing beside me. He laid on his side, his arm over my waist and his other hand supporting his head. He was happy. Just in his smile, and his attitude; he was happy.

"Every night will be like this. I can't wait to be with my best friend every night and everyday. Just lying here and laughing at stupid stuff." He muttered.

"Very soon, Joseph Stamper."

"My lord, I love you so much Charlotte Shelton." He murmured.

"I love you too."

He made my heart fluttered. I was so glad that he was mine.
