Joey—

The whole drive home, Charlotte ignored me. She sat in the passenger seat with Caleb as he drove.

She hadn't said a word to me. She won't look at me. She won't even acknowledge me.

I mean, I get what I did was wrong. I honestly do, and I tried to explain myself and apologize. She wouldn't listen to me. It hurt to see the girl I loved most not talking to me.

"What happened?" Chad whispered.

"She found out about Sophia. I tried to apologize, but she won't have it." I mumbled.

"Caleb!" Spencer whined, "Pull over. I have to pee!"

Caleb sighed, "There's a gas station five minutes away, we need gas anyway."

Once the guys got out, Charlotte got out. I followed, determined to talk to her.

"Charlotte," I sighed. She ignored me. "Char-baby, please. Dang it, Charlotte Mae, I love you. Please, just listen to me."

"No!" She snapped, "It broke my heart to even think that you might be cheating. It hurts. You know you could tell me anything and I wouldn't've been mad. I'm mad because you kept it from me!"

She turned and stormed off into the gas station. Sighing, I followed her. Right before she went into the restroom, I grabbed her hand and pulled her back.

Carefully, I placed my hands on the wall, pinning her. "Charlotte, listen to me. I don't want to lose you. I was going to tell you, I swear. I was trying to get Sophia to leave me alone, because you're the only person I want. I love you, angel."

"I love you too, but that doesn't make it right. I accept the apology, I do. Just promise to tell me everything, and I'll tell you everything. Please don't hide anything from me." She whispered.

I gave a sigh of relief, "I won't hide anything. I promise."

"I love you." She smiled.

"I love you too, angel."

She laughed, "Joseph Patrick, just kiss me already."

She gently grabbed the collar of my shirt, pulling me towards. She leaned forward, teasingly, a smirk playing her lips.

"Angel," I whispered, "Really?"

She pulled me as close as she could. She gave a small laugh before connecting our lips. During the kiss, she let go of my collar and wrapped her hands around my neck.

I groaned as I heard a plastic bag crinkle.

"You know, I'm sure people don't come to a gas station to see a couple make out by the bathrooms." Chad stated.

I sighed, pulling back and burying my face into Charlotte's neck. She laughed, "Why don't you and the guys go back to the van. Joey and I were trying to talk."

Chad scoffed, "In what? Tongues?"

"Go away, Chad." I grumbled.

Charlotte giggled and gently pushed on my chest. She sighed, "Since we were so rudely interrupted, I need to use the restroom. Tell Caleb I'll be back in a moment."

I nodded, "Sure thing. I love you."

She quickly pressed her lips to mine, "I love you too."

I let her go, and she scurried off. Chad smirked as I began to walk off. He slapped my shoulder.

"Get you some, bro!" Chad exclaimed.

"Would you keep it down?" I hushed, "She's my fiancée, man."
