Charlotte-

I had my eyes covered as Joey had my hand dragged me somewhere. I knew were in proximity of the woods.

I could smell the fresh air, and hear the chirping of birds and the patter of small animals. Soon enough, I felt a rough, hard surface beneath my feet.

"Babe, where are we?" I asked, obviously annoyed with the fact that I can't see.

We stopped, and with his hand, he moved mine from my eyes. He gently pressed a small kiss to my lips.

When he pulled back, he moved to side of me. Instantly, I recognized where we were.

It was the place we met, and had our first date. It was always a breathtaking view. I came out here frequently.

"Our place." He whispered, kissing my cheek.

We were out on a cliff that over looked the woods, and parts of Nashville. Easily, my favorite place in the world, especially with Joey there with me.

"But why are we are? We haven't been here in awhile." I stated.

He grinned and began to kneel down, pulling out a small, black box. He opened it, letting a ring show.

The ring itself was gold with little diamonds embedded throughout the body of it. The larger diamond sat in the middle.

"Charlotte Mae, my baby, I love you so much. So, I have decided to ask this. I would've prepared a speech, but there's so much to love about you. Will you marry me?"

I nodded, with tears running down my face. "Yes." I whispered.

He smiled and stood up, plucking the ring from the box and sliding it onto my left hand. Joey cupped my face, running his thumbs under my eyes, clearing my face of tears.

"Now, I don't think a lady as beautiful as you should be crying." He replied cheekily.

I laughed, "Just kiss me already, Joseph."

He brought me forward, gently, connecting our lips. My hands laid on his waist as I smiled into the kiss.

It wasn't until minutes later when he pulled away. He just rested his forehead against me.

"I really love you." He whispered.

"I really love you too, Joseph Patrick." I smiled.

He moved his hands, wrapping them around my waist and pulling me into a hug. My hands slid up his chest, then wrapped around his neck.

"Thank you, God, for such an amazing woman." He muttered.

He was definitely the love of my life. I wouldn't want anyone else.
