Fair warning: there is mention of some adult content/a love scene between Tom and Sarah in this chapter, however it does not delve into details of their encounter at all... Just a simple mention that it did happen the night before!

When I awoke, I took notice that the other side of the bed is stone cold. Eric must have been up for quite a while by now. I rub my weary eyes and make the effort to push myself to my feet. My head aches a little bit, but that's pretty normal for me when I end up falling asleep intoxicated. I prowl over to the glass door that leads to the balcony outside of our room, and I see Eric casually basking in the warm--and humid--Florida sunlight. I smile softly to myself at the way he is so innocently perched upon the black wrought-iron chair. He seems so calm and at peace even though I know him better than that. Chances are there are a thousand thoughts racing through his mind, but he doesn't show it.

I carefully slide the door open and he turns to look behind him. "Morning."

I smile softly in return. "Morning."

I stand behind him, leaning down to hug him around his broad shoulders. He reaches up and caresses my hands now clasped just below his neck. I release him and he gracefully stands up and whirls around to face me. He's already dressed; he is wearing a faded blue t-shirt with Megadeth's logo plastered across the front, some acid wash jeans, and of course, his black boots.

"Looks like you've been up for a while," I remark

"Yeah, about an hour or two by now."

"Why don't I go get dressed real quick so we can go get something to eat. I'm starved."

"Alright, kitten, sounds good." He grins and embraces me.

I kiss him softly and then walk back inside. I open up my suitcase in the corner of the bedroom and pull out my clothes. Today's outfit consisting of a black shirt with Poison's logo in neon green across the front, and some black leather leggings. I throw on my clothes and do my best to straighten my hair for the day. I quickly comb through it after I'm finished running it through the hot iron, then I brush on some of my blue eyeliner and some mascara; I can worry about everything else later. I walk back out to the main sitting room area of our suite and stare at the door for a few seconds, my mind flashing back to our encounter there when we got back from the beach last night. I feel my cheeks grow flush just thinking about it.

"Ready to go?" his voice calls behind me.

"Oh, yeah... sorry I was just... thinking," I stammer.

"That's alright, I think I know... I was thinking about it this morning too."

"You know." I turn to face him and rest my hands on his waist. "I wouldn't mind if something like that happened again. I liked that. I know it was sudden but sudden is good. I mean we have been going out for almost a year now."

"I'll be sure to remember that in the future." He smirks.

I grin and he leans down, kissing me slowly, then again out of nowhere, he slams me into the door, intensifying the kiss. Finally we part and he gives me that signature devious grin. "Like that?"

"There we go." I smirk.

"Well, my lady, I guess we should head down."

"Yeah I guess so." I offer him my hand, and he takes it. We slowly pace down the hallway to the elevator. I press the button with my thumb and it glows a pale yellow as the speakers chime and the doors open. We step inside and Eric punches the button for the first floor. We make our descent and the door chimes open again.
