Gypsy Road

Introduction

Hey guys with this new story, I'm going to start out with a quick intro narrated by my main character. It's a little different--well, a lot, rather--than my normal writing style to start a story. But I figured it would be a good idea to start with some background information so we don't just jump right in cold water with this one. Hopefully this introduction helps to explain a little history and paint a little picture of my character. Hope you all enjoy this one! Please feel free to ask any questions in the comments if need be! Also just for the purpose of the story, I am changing the history of the band just a tiny bit by adding Jeff and Fred in before the contract with the record company. Mainly because I want to keep the feel of the lineup alive, since they remained with the band the longest. I also changed some of the timing of their history as far as the tour goes and stuff just for the purpose of this story. So yes, of course, I know my history of the band and the members before they made their big break and throughout their entire career, but I just love the lineup with Jeff and Fred so much that I decided to keep the feel alive by adding them in before their time, just for the purpose of my story.

Hi there, my name is Donna. I'll be the main character in this story. Well, since it is my story after all. I'm a girl who is now the age of 23, the year is 1986. I've known Tom Keifer, my best friend, all of my life, as long as I can remember. We've lived close to each other for a long time now. We've been neighbors ever since we were infants. Now I'm his roommate, we share a small single-floored house in Philadelphia where the garage serves as our (quite loud) studio. He's my best friend, and I support him in everything he does, as he does the same for me. I know this is going to sound pretty stereotypical for knowing Tom and the rest of his band and being around them all the time, but Cinderella is my favorite band. I love their music, their style, everything. Tom and Eric have really a lot of skill in the area of songwriting and creating their own very unique sound. Only recently have I known Jeff and Fred but I could easily say the same of those two.

Anyways, you all probably know a lot about Tom and Eric and Cinderella. I might as well give you some more information about me, just so you can get a good picture of how to visualize me through my story here. I'm about 5'7" and I have crazy long orangish hair. I have the top layered perfectly for that glam rocker look. My eyes are a deep green, my skin extremely fair. I dress pretty much like the rest of the band (even though I'm not technically a member) I wear the outfits, the eyeliner and all. Usually a lot of bright makeup, my personal favorite being electric blue. Moving on to my more musical side, I play electric guitar, Tom has taught me over the years, and my baby is my Fender Stratocaster, which is bright blue. Well, I won't bore you all too much with the details. I might as well get into my story about how life as a rocker is. Hope you enjoy reading!
