Emma's POV

Sunday night

Jessie had gone to bed a while ago. Actually she was probably just playing video games upstairs but she calls it "sleeping." It's 7:55pm and Jax is supposed to be home in T- 5 minutes. I was anxiously binge watching all of Teen wolf which Jax and i had watched when we were dating.

Recently all my thoughts are surrounding Jax. After coming back everything just felt so out of place and I didnt like it. Not at all.

DING DONG.

I looked over at the door and ran over to it. Finally, Jax. I rushed to the door a huge smile on my face.

The smile on my face quickly fell. Next to Jax there was a girl. A pretty girl. A girl that looked so similar to Jax. A girl that wasn't anything like me.

"Hi" she smiled up at me. It wasn't a real smile. Oh no. A real smile was like when my dad gets up on the first day of school to continue with our "special" pencil smelling tradition. A real smile is like when I got Andi a new tool set after her old one was stolen. A real smile is like when Jax finally got his full powers. A real smile is like when I moved back and saw everyone again after two years apart.

This was not a real smile.

This was a "I-have-zero- clue- what- you're- doing- here- but- I'll- be- nice- and- smile- because-i- want- to- seem- like- a- nice- person- but- literally- what- the- hell- are- you- doing- here" smile.

Yes, I got all that from her smile.

Accompanied by her oh so real smile was her two blue eyes. Blue is Jax's favorite color although he always denies it, or at least says it's tied with black. I personally don't believe that.

Her blue eyes were perfectly cpprdinated with her dirty blond hair. Light brown, gold, and multiple other shades of beautiful colors were mixed into her hair making my dull brown hair seem incomparable with such a beautiful palette.

Her face was flawless. Did she even have to go through puberty? Or did she get a free pass through it?

Her style so closely resembles Jax's. Black shorts were worn casually over some black see through tights. She wore a black Blink- 182 shirt. Jax's favorite band. Just to add a little cherry on top, black combat books and a leather jacket, which seemed identical to Jax's, pulled the outfit together. Along with her dark purple lipstick of course.

"Hi." I finally answered, and have the same fake smile back. I opened the door and welcomed her in. We laid Jax onto a creme couch next to the front door. As I draped his arm over my shoulder the stench hit me.

Alcohol.

Why am I not surprised?

"You gave him alcohol?!" I screamed as I turned back to whoever this girl is.

"No need to yell, it'll give him a worse headache then he's already going to have" She said as she sat down next to Jax, running her hand through his hair almost lovingly.

"And who are you to tell me what to do?" My eyes widened. I have never and would never talk to anyone like that. Why am I acting so strange?

"Look. You dont even know my name so you have no reason to be so rude to me. And as far as i know, Jax only has a younger 13 year old sister and no girlfriend so if you want to correct me go ahead." She stood up, arms crossed over her chest.

"Whats your name and who are you?" I questioned, standing in the same position.

"Alexis, Jax's gir- friend." She stuttered. "Who are you?"
