Toshiro's POV: "Just when I've gotten used to this place!" I scream as I pace back and forth. "Come on captain. It's been months. We need to go." "I understand but can't we stay a while longer?" I ask Rangiku. "I'm sorry sir." I had no choice. A hell butterfly came to me with some news. I need to go back to the soul society.
*Later that day*
So this is my last day here? What am I going to do? How am I going to tell Karin? I'm deep into my thoughts when I bump into something. "Hi there Rin-hime." I say to her as she looks up at me. "Didn't I tell you to stop calling me that?" She asks. "Too late. I'm calling you that from now on. Anyways I need to talk to you." Hey full attention is now on me. "Sure. What do you want to talk about?" I needed to know this. I need to know before I go. "Karin" I start. I felt my cheeks warm up from the heat. My eyes stare straight into her violet ones. I brush her hair behind her ear. "I need to know." I continue. "Do you have feelings for _" "CAPTAIN!!!!" I hear Rangiku's voice which cuts me off. "It's time to go." She says to me. Karin's expression changes. "You're leaving?" My face turns from nervousness to sadness. "I wanted to tell you but I guess that opportunity was taken from me." I glare at Rangiku, but she isn't leaving. I sigh. "I need to go." Her eyes become watery. She reaches out for a hug. I give her one. I felt like tears were going to race down my face but I held them back. It felt like forever but when we let go, it was too soon. The doors open and I walk through. I'm home.
Karin's POV: I watch as Toshiro walks out of my sight. I feel tears run down my face. He's gone again. I don't know when he'll back. I slowly walk back to the clinic. Waking past the places we always hung out. I touch the necklace he gave me. Holding it close my chest. I walk into the clinic "Hey." Ichigo says to me, probably knowing what it situation is. "Hey, I'm home."

On a different note, the story is h going to get a lot more serious after this chapter. There will be seeing fun moments but it's generally going to be more serious. How you all have enjoyed this so far. ❤
