A love triangle

Karin's POV: Toshiro and I have been exchanging messages using these new butterflies that were created a couple months ago for a while. A couple of years have passed and it's almost time for my graduation from high school onto university. I can't believe it's been that long since Toshiro has been here. Back then, when I first met him I was barely a teenager. Now, I'm almost graduating high school. Throughout all these years, I wished Toshiro would've been here with me. I remember that play we put on, the dance I performed, all of it. I wished he was here. But I'm starting to think that he isn't coming back. It's gotten to the point that school is boring. Except for the fact that Kyoshi is still here, bullying everyone, especially me. Turns out she's the one who broke my necklace, the one Toshiro gave me. When he left, she decided to go for the other popular guys at the school. Dave was one of them. He's on the senior boys' volleyball team. I was on the girls' team, with Kiyoshi. She tried to get his attention, but he ended up seeing me instead. Let's just say it didn't go very well on my side, but I didn't take it too hard. Sigh, I wish he'd come back. Our soccer team got into the city championships and I told him about it. I really hope he'll make it. "Karin Kurosaki?" My head turns. It's Dave. "Do you have an answer to my proposal?" He asked as he slowly got closer and closer to me.

Toshiro's POV: "Momo! Where'd you put my blue collar shirt?!" I shout. Momo is currently living with me because someone pulled a prank on everyone at her barracks and it needs to be cleaned out. "It's in your room Shiro." The reason I'm getting all this clothing together? I'm going to sneak out to see Karin at her game. It'd be the perfect surprise, and this time no one will interrupt me. I will tell her how I feel. "Shiro-chan you are aware you're talking out loud, right?" I snapped out of my face of joy. "C'mon Shiro-chan. We need to get you ready. Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" "I'm sure Momo. I'm going to be fine. I'm a soul reaper, I can take care of myself."

*few moments of packing later*

"Alright, I'm ready to go." I was ready. I was going to see Karin. "I see you've decided to take a little vacation, captain." Rangiku is there. "Rangiku ..." She looked at me dead in the eyes, but then see looked cheerful. "I'm coming with you!"she shouted squealing with joy. "Hey now! You don't even know where I'm going!" I shout as she runs to her barrack. "You're going to see Karin right? I wanna come too." At this point I'm too tired to do anything so I left it be. I was now ready to go to the living world.

*At the human world*

Here I am. It's been far too long and a confession is very over due. I need to fine Karin, tell her how I feel. Tell her how much she means to me. "Hey Shiro-chan, you're talking out loud again." I almost jumped out of my skin. "Momo?! How? Wha?" She stood there and smiled. "Did you really think I'd let you come here alone? Besides, I want to meet this Karin you keep talking about." I roll my eyes but at the same time, I was excited to meet her and introduce her to Momo. But my mood quickly changed as I walked past the school she went to. There I see Karin with someone I didn't know. She never mentioned him and they were extremely close to each other. And that's when my heart sank. He kissed her.
