Meet you again

Dinner party

Toshiro's POV: I can't believe Isshin made us all sit with our "dates" I sat beside Karin, and he sat beside a gigantic picture of his wife Misaki. But it seems like there were more guest than expected. Yuzu sat in between Jinta and Ururu and Orihime sat in between Ichigo and Tatsuki. Urahara sat beside Isshin as well. It felt weird sitting at a table like this. A few minutes later a bunch of waiter and waitresses came by to take our orders. Isshin ordered for all of us. The table was overflowing with food. I just wondered if he could pay for it all.

*4 hours later*

I barely ate anything but I was amazed by how much Isshin, Urahara and Orihime ate. How are they still alive?! Then I felt something warm touch my hand. It was Karin's hand. I look at her and she's asleep. I look at the time and its 1:00am. I was really late. "Toshiro ..." I look at her again. Turns out she wasn't asleep. "My tummy hurts. Give me your hand." I didn't question her. I put my hand in reach. She thanks me and puts it on her stomach. Was my hand cold or something? I wasn't sure but she looked at ease. I was surprised this place didn't close yet. During the time we were eating, Ishida, Sado and the rest of Ichigo's friends came by and joined us for dinner. Can I even call it dinner? It took us so long to get here it was probably a late night snack or something to them.

*2 hours later*

I felt my eyes slowly shut then re-open immediately. When were we leaving?! I look around. Orihime is still quite energetic. Isshin is hugging his daughter Yuzu and Jinta. Probably whispering them to be a couple since Jinta was blushing. Ichigo seemed to be acting drunk? I have no idea what was going on. I then felt something warm on my hand. Look down and it was Karin's cheek. She was asleep on my lap. How does she not feel weird in that position? I couldn't help myself from touching her soft cheek with my free hand. Then finally Isshin stands up and says "Alright everyone. Time to go home." Finally! I gently nudge Karin to wake her up. It takes her a while but she wakes up. She couldn't walk in a straight line so I decided to attempt to carry her bridal style. She didn't seem to mind. I'm guessing it was because she was half asleep. I placed her on her seat and off we went.

*Next day*

Karin's POV: What happened? I don't remember. I get up to see myself on a futon on the floor. I rubbed my eyes to look around. Dad was on the sofa, Yuzu was in his arms and Ichigo was face first on the floor with a blanket covering half is body. I looked around for Toshiro but I couldn't find him. I then felt something move beneath me. I look down and there he was. It turned out I was sleeping on his chest this whole time. No blanket. Just me, him a futon and the floor. I felt my cheeks heat up. What was this feeling? Why do I feel like butterflies are trapped in my stomach when he's near? I don't know why!! "DAMN IT!" I shout as I pound my fist on the "ground". I forgot I was sleeping on top of Toshiro that I ended up pounding my fist on his chest. He opened his eyes and stared at me. He grinned. "Good morning, Rin-hime." My face turned a bright red shade. I buried my face with my hands as he just giggled. A few minutes later everyone woke up. We all got changed because no one got changed out of what we had on. Turns out Toshiro was going to stay here for a few months. Something happened in the Soul Society apparently and they didn't want Shinigami in the human world to come back because of a fear of something. Guess he'll be here for a while.
