'Are you okay?' You'd like to ask

'Fine.' I would reply, 'I have my mask.'

I'm alright I swear its okay.

My mask is just as good as my face.

My mask can smile.

My mask can laugh

No tears can ever make it past.

Everything is alright.

My mask is on tight,

no need to have a fright.

I'm fine, I'll just hide behind lies.

Happy ? Me ?

If you'd like I could be.

Smile ? Really ?

If you want I could see.

I'll play my part.

I'll be little miss happy.

No need to comfort me.

I can deal with my tragedy.

Don't like my philosophy ?

Honestly.

Why are you allowed to judge me ?

After all you have a mask as well.

But please lets not dwell,

Lets continue playing dress up.

Because we are all far to wimpy to fess up.

I have my mask and you have yours.

Lets all just become an unaware corpse.

With our masks glued on tight.

Because we are all alright.
