And sometimes I think you don't notice
Sometimes I think you don't know or beileve me when I say so
But you are
Inside and out
Your soul sings like a soaring bird
Your passion burns like a roaring fire
Your heart beats like the flutter of wings
And your mind
Oh that beautiful, beautiful mind
You write so gorgeously
Like you're pouring every ounce of feeling into each little word
And sometimes I think you don't notice how brilliant you truly are
And even if you don't believe every seemingly frivolous compliment I give
I swear they are all true
But what makes you beautiful isn't your ability to string words together to make stories, or your fascinating mind, or your appearance
Its your heart and soul
Its the way you manage to make me smile when I'm sad
And laugh when I'm beyond irritated
Its the way you listen to my ranting when I'm angry
And help me find solutions to my problems
You are beautiful because of all of these things
And millions more
And sure you have flaws but who doesn't
They make you, you
And I wouldn't have it any other way
And if you ever forget how truly beautiful you are
I'll always be here to remind you that
You.
