10 Minutes of a High School Experience

Don't stress, don't stress, it's okay, it's okay. "You aren't in middle school anymore, you're not babies anymore, so stop acting like them." Its just homework, relax, it's okay just try your best. "I know you all have a lot on your plate but you need to make sure to make time to read pages 1-30 at home, we won't have the time in class." Take a breath, take a break, calm down, its fine you'll be fine. "Homework and classwork is 20% of your grade, quizzes and presentations are 30% of your grade and tests and exams are 50% of your grade." It's high school that's it, you are going to be fine. It's just high school you're not going to die. "How do you expect to get through college if you can't even remember to turn in your homework now? They won't care like we do." I'm okay, I  am okay, don't stress it's just high school, I can do the homework its okay. "Dress code; For girls shorts, dresses and skirts must be knee length or longer, and all shirts must cover your shoulders and midriff. Neither boys nor girls can wear head coverings."  Don't be so emotional, it's fine, your over reacting, it's okay, you will be okay. "Make sure to get a good nights rest for this exam tomorrow, it's very important and there will be no retakes." Stop stressing it's only high school, its not going to be bad, take a breath, take a break, take a seat. You can do it all. Just skip breakfast and do homework instead. "Three tardies and prepare yourself for Saturday school with the principal. Three absences and you could get a zero in the classes you missed." I can just start running to that class its fine. I am not sick, I am okay I can survive. It's just a headache I can go to school today, it's just a runny nose, it's just a stomach ache, it's just a twisted ankle, your fine. "Alright everyone make sure to do chapter 4-7. And have a good weekend." It's okay I can just stay up all weekend to finish everything. Homework comes first. "It's important to balance schoolwork and having fun." I can have fun when I graduate, when I get this A, when I pass this test. "Having some time to recuperate is important don't forget to make time for things other than schoolwork." No, no I have to finish this or I won't get the grade I need and I need to do the other things and I need to study and no I need to do the work. No time for playing around or hanging out for friends I barely have time to sleep I have to finish my homework. I'm fine.
