Once upon a time a star shattered into millions of pieces
And out of that single star the many different universes splintered into existence
Once upon a time our world appeared from the stardust
And people as well
Once upon a time a girl was born with stardust in her eyes
And she was made to rise
Once upon a time a boy was born with stardust in his eyes
And he was destined to die
Once upon a time a girl locked herself in her room to gaze at the stars because she preferred them over hearing the drunken fights
And they were the one things she truly believed in
Once upon a time a boy ran away to lay under the stars because he preferred them to feeling the pain his father bestowed upon him
And they were the only things that gave him hope
Once upon a time a star obsessed boy and girl met
And they became star crossed lovers; their earthian relationship doomed from the start
Once upon a time a boy and girl dreamed of other galaxies, cosmic dust, falling stars, even sailing across the milky way
And they dreamed of someday joining the constellations
Once upon a time a girl became his Star-Girl
And a boy became her Celestial-Boy; both burned with a fiery passion for the stars just like a supernova ready to explode, and they were perfect for one another
Once upon a time a young man and woman said 'I do'
And were married with a baby girl
Once upon a time a newly wed man fell ill
And his beautiful Star-girl wept whilst cradling their little girl of two
Once upon a time a widow held the hand of her little girl
And they lay starflowers upon her dearly departed Celestial-Boy; his start was by stardust and his end was as well
Once upon a time a Star-Girl was left to grieve after she lowered her Celestial-Boy into the ground
And she knew they were two shooting stars destined to long for one another yet unable to ever meet
Once Upon a time an old widow lay at her death bed
And she gave her last words to her little girl, Nova,
"We were all made from stardust because we were all meant to shine."
Once upon a time two star crossed lovers were reunited
And they met up in the cosmos as constellations high in the midnight sky, just as they had always dreamed
Once upon a time we were made from stardust, but we forgot
And we are still meant to shine, whether we choose to or not
