It's quite an inspiration to have so many reads to guide me. It is completely my fault for making Archer a messy eater. But I don't want this story being the kind where they have perfect ass characters. That is way too unreal. Check it out. Peace. C:

CHAPTER 7
Ugh, this house is way too big. I've been walking for about 15 minutes now and I still can't find the way to the dining room. Only if that girl waited for me to come with her. Was she the one who was supposed to bring me downstairs? Bark. Bark. Rosalynn heard the sounds of Archie's barks from down the hallway.
"Hold up, Archie." She shouted while he looked back at her with his tail still wagging with enthusiasm. Finally, she saw the staircase going down to the living room. Rosalynn stood, holding the rail to capture her breath. Archie pounced his way down the staircase.
"Oh, there you are, Rosiee. I was about to get you. Apparently, Savannah didn't." Cassandra said while frowning with disappointment to the girl sitting on the couch, texting.
"Yeah, yeah. You didn't tell me to get her, sis. Just to call her down." The girl, Savannah, announced keeping her gaze still on the device, her thumbs moving rapidly on its screen.
"I did, you just didn't hear me over that insane tapping on the phone." Cassandra turned toward Rosalynn as he frown faltered. "Come on, Rosiee, let's get some food in you."
The table was actually full with simple English food. Rosalynn was glad for that. She picked up what looked like a salami and cheese panini.
"Oh, that's Sis' specialty." A familiar deep male voice spoke causing her to almost drop the food. She turned around to see, Archer? The real human Archer? What's he doing here?
"Y-you live here?" Rosalynn stuttered. He was wearing a pair of jeans and dark blue denim shirt with the top few buttons off revealing his firm chest with the faint wisps of hair.
"Yup." He said while popping the 'p', grabbed some fried chicken to his plate and started ripping the meat off, barbarously. This action left Rosalynn speechless. How was this even possible?
"Sho.. whatch broughchu here?" He said with a full mouth, sounding out each word.
"First of all, let me be the first one to say, EW and you're going to choke. And because of my puppy. Your so called sister and brother-in-law wants to claim it back." Rosalynn stopped and stared while he shoved the rest of the chicken into his mouth and started chomping. "Oh yeah, let me show him to you." She said trying to distract herself from the view of his mouth. It's weird how I think that him eating like that is actually kind of cute. What's wrong with me?
Cough Cough. He chocked on his food. Rosalynn got up from her chair and patted him on the back, trying to get him to swallow. "Thank you, but I..... don't like dogs?" Archer lied. How can he hate dogs if he was from the same family as a dog?
"Oh, okay then. If you want, I can change the name." She was surprised at her own disappointed tone. He interrupted Rosalynn with a chuckle.
"It's fine, you can name him, Archie. I don't necessarily dislike them, I'm just seriously allergic to the fur." The lie came easily out of his mouth.
"Oh. That explains it." Rosalynn smiled genuinely.
"By the way, care to give an explanation on why you named him Archie?" He asked with a look of curiosity taking over.
"Uh-I Um.. Well, it's because you kind of saved me that day so I-I wanted to name him that. I think." She blushed red.
"Oh, how sweet." Cassandra said as she walked back to the table with a pitcher full of iced tea.
"Ugh, enough with the flirting, you two love birds. It totally disgusts me." Savannah intended, finally raising her gaze from the phone to glare at Rosalynn causing her blush to retreat and a cold shiver shook its way down her back. Savannah hated Rosalynn. She hated how the girl was practically hanging onto her brother's side. Her brother don't need to suffer the same pain again.
"Cassie, I need to go to a meeting." Archer said grabbing his phone from the kitchen counter and a panini. "One for the road and Rosie, I forgot to mention that you got one heck of a ride." He said, what Rosalynn thought was intending for her bike.
"Thanks." She blushed yet once again.

After lunch, she darted toward her room with the guidance of Trevor, Cassandra's husband. "Mr. Smith, can I ask you a question?"
"Sure, and I like to be called Trevor. Mr.Smith is what my father is called."
"Um.. Trevor, whose room is the one down the hall?"
"The one down the hall is Archer's. I think. He's not here much so I'm not sure." He replied, scratching his head.
"Oh, um.. thanks?" She said closing the door on his face, literally. Sorry, Trevor, but I need to go into a serious thinking session. Rosalynn slid down to the floor with her back leaning against the floor. She ran her hand through her now red, tangled hair.
"Archer? Why would Archer draw pictures of me?" She thought out loud trying to get a response from her little puppy. Minutes passed by without response.
"Archie? Where are you, sweetie?" Rosalynn looked around exasperatedly. She ran downstairs again to see if one of the Smiths had him. But no one had even seen him after lunch, where Cassandra claimed she fed him some chicken. Maybe he went outside? Rosalynn opened the front door and rushed out to bump into a woman.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry." Rosalynn apologized hoping that she wasn't hurt.
"It's fine." The woman got up and dusted herself off. "Blimey, the eggs." She gathered up the thrown grocery and shuffled through the paper bag to dish out a soaking egg carton.
"This is all your fault, Anna. I will get you little bum sucker. Oh-" Melissa turned to Rosalynn to see that it was not whom she was expecting for.
"And, who might you be, young lady?" Her tone changed to an angered to a polite one.
"Uh. I-um. It's Rosalynn. You can call me Rosiee if you want. I will be staying to see if Archie fits in with this family." She went off explaining.
"Well, your mighty young to be a social worker." The woman had a slight British accent.
"NO. No. I mean my puppy, Archie. Not you know, Archer the man." Rosalynn blushed.
Melissa laughed loudly, "Oh, so your the famous young lady who presumed that she owned Archie. Well, I suppose there's a difference between them. But, if you've seen him eat, I will be surprised if you don't mistake those two."
"Well, I do own him. After all, I was the one who found him at my doorsteps. And believe me, I've seen him eat." Rosalynn said with a snicker.
"Yes, yes. Quite true. Now, if you don't mind, would you help me to the kitchen with these bags? I feel quite zonked." Rosalynn looked at her in confusion. "Zonked, miss?"
"Oh, my bad. I mean't sick my dear. And it's Melissa. I don't need any Miss nonsense. Anyways, you have to excuse my vocabulary. After living in Britain for the past seven years, you tend to pick up wee bits." She claimed as she followed Rosalynn to the kitchen.
Rosalyn asked relating to Cassandra, Savannah and Archer, "It's alright, Melissa. By your blue eyes, I believe you are related to Cassandra?"
"Oh yes, those lassies are my sisters. And if you met, Archer the 'man', you might think he's my brother. Well, he is. He's, I think, 4 years younger?" Melissa said quoting the word man between her phrase. So? He's older than me ha? He looks like he's already in his 20's though. Wait, why am I thinking about Archer? Rosalynn tried to nod off her thoughts by shaking her head.
"Lisa!!!!!" Before she knew it, Cassandra hurried past her, toward Melissa, capturing the woman in to a wild hug.
